was like she just won an ordinary match down at her local club rather than a grand slam final, it's only her 5th slam appearance in singles at the age of 25, how do you go from that to French Open winner, never even qualified for Wimbledon or the US Open and only won her first tournament on tour last week, also never beat a top 20 player in her career until a few weeks ago, either she has the worlds best psychologist or she should be pissing in a bottle right about now

The answer is very simple. WTA players are inconsistent,mentally weak and quite frankly there are just very few of them can play real tennis.
So the ranking as such does not mean nothing, I mean literally nothing, anybody can beat anybody on a given day regardless of the ranking especially on clay where we have the most "one hit wonder" champion. They have a good run once in their career and and that`s it, never will be repeated. Everybody talked about how Iga will defend her crown and I said weeks before the RG that she will be out as soon as she gets a worthy opponent and it happened. She got easy opponents until she faced Sakkari, straight sets, good bye.
All I want to say is, don`t be surprised by these one hit wonders, it can happen, they are usually not good players having a good run,they are overhyped by the media and even here on betfair too, don`t let them mislead you and then you won`t be surprised and won`t feel it suspicious.

French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova completed a rare feat at Roland Garros by adding the women's doubles title to her singles success.
Krejcikova, 25, won the singles title on Saturday and backed that up with victory alongside fellow Czech Katerina Siniakova in Paris on Sunday.
No player had achieved the double since France's Mary Pierce in 2000.
The second seeds won 6-4 6-2 against Poland's Iga Swiatek and Bethanie Mattek-Sands of the United States.
It is their third major title together and Krejcikova's seventh in total.
As well as victories alongside Siniakova at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2018, she has also won the past three Australian Open mixed doubles.

Siniakova was a liability on serve but lights out at the net..Swiontek was poor

Almost anybody can make it once in WTA but it`s still a great achievement,great money, she is set for life. I would have been sick if Pavs win in the end, was glad that Barbs made it.
Doubles titles never mattered, nobody takes them serious, Imagine if doubles would matter and top single players would really want to win doubles, in that case players like Babos, Mladenovic etc wouldn`t even touch the final let alone the trophy. Doubles are for the less talented players, they can feel some success at least but 99% of the time their single career is a waste of air, Babos and Mladenovic are good examples for that.

I'm sure the juicing has got a lot easier under the cover of CoVid, but since she's not Russian I'm prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt 
She didn't even try to qualify for the last edition of Wimbledon in 2019, played a $60k ITF on clay instead, and won it.
