Suggestion in statements by various parties is that the events that would have been 2nd week of RG will be cancelled now, but that seems silly really. But WTA, ATP and Wimbledon are all talking of a 1 week shorter grass season.
A one week shorter grass season is fabulous news (if they can find events to put in the now empty week before RG)

My understanding, as expressed in this piece from last night, is that the Libema Open is already effectively off, Stuttgart will go ahead if it receives compensation from FFT, and it’s anyone’s guess what the British grass-court season looks like

Also the Telegraph article headline claims it's down to Macron's latest lockdown, I didn't actually realise that was the reason for the move, or the technicalities behind it.
just hoping they do something about the empty slot before RG now.
Move $125k Bol slam, which isn't it normally 2nd week of RG, surely it can't be played 1st week of RG lol.

Don't look at next week in the calendar, it will hurt your eyes.
minus the injuries, it was nice of Charleston to put on a tournament during a Fed Cup week where we usually get no WTA during the week.
still haven't figured out how that works, but some muggy playoffs next weekend and then the big finals in Budapest at an unannounced date later this year?
I've seen some line-ups. pretty much mugs only.

it is, but I don't think this is uncommon. It's the same in St Petersburg for instance. There's an international audience (online viewers), so not completely illogical.
