Even in his prime, Murray needed weeks to play himself into form after a lengthy absence. He was never like Ash Barty or Roger Federer in that sense.(And these days it's harder for him because he is so injury prone his body won't allow him to play lots of tennis and find form).
is it totally gone or will we sometime in the future see a Murray capable of making a Slam run? it feels like this time has been and gone to me

he probably needs to change the way he plays, shortening the points etc cause playing 5 sets against a mug like Nishioka the round before sure didn't help. But easier said than done when you have played a certain way your whole career. At least Rafa improved his serve and stuff.
I hope we're wrong and Murray finds a way back to top 20 sort of level. Feels very unlikely though, as his game style was all about movement

if there's no fans, even if there's an outbreak they can just carry on anyway?
yeah. when I said outbreak I meant amongst the players like there have been with NBA and NFL. If it's in the city they're they'll just play go on with no fans in most cases, unless it's somewhere super strict like Germany imo.

I feel this is more likely in some random ATP tournament where someone like Alex Zverev ignores the rules
