I hope most of you will know the rules (apart from one rule change - see the bottom) already, but here they are just to make sure:
Pick a player each day. If your player wins, you advance to the next day and get to pick again. At the end, glory and lots of forum cred awaits the ultimate winner. If your player loses, you are out and eternal shame shall fall upon on. Each player can only be chosen once, so maybe don't pick your favoured finalists on the first two days. If the first set was completed and your player retires, it counts as a loss. If your pick withdraws or retires before the first set is completed, you can pick from another match that hasn't been started yet.
If matches are rescheduled due to rain, you are not allowed to pick it on the new day (e.g if Lorenzi-Nakashima is originally scheduled for day 1, but it rains and doesn't start on day 1, starts on day 2 instead...you are not allowed to pick it for day 2. You are however of course allowed to use it as your day 1 pick). If it comes to such a scenario, I will try to point out which matches you are not allowed to pick on the day.
Picks don't have to be made before all play starts for the day, but it naturally should be made before the match with your pick has started.
New rule:In case we have a tie between multiple people at the time, the average odds of the selections will determine the champion. The odds listed on oddsportal will be used for that.
I hope that covers everything. If there are any additional questions, feel free to ask.

Now they are up and running on the outside courts, I'll venture away from Chatrier and take Amanda Anisimova as my Day 2 pick. Will be getting under way in a little bit now that Sock has disposed of Opelka in straight sets.

Day 5 - we are down to our final three contestants after Juvan slaughtered two people todayAngoose - Halep, Anisimova, Ferro, Svitolina, Kvitovan88uk - Alexandrova, Tig, Ferro, Sakkari, KeninSamuelMertensBertens - Alexandrova, Hercog, Ferro, Sakkari,
I usually go for an early match, such is my impatience, but have today gone for one of the late matches. Grease is the word, and it is Maria Sakkari who has been entrusted with the responsibility to take me through to Day 7.

In a big shock to everyone, Maria Sakkari lost against The Smiling Assassin Martina Trevisan after the Greek failed to take advantage of either of her two match points in the tiebreak. Sakkari was not her only victim as she also took Angoose down at the same time.
To make matters even better for the man that picked Iga, the pick of n88uk, which was a literal pick 'em, also lost in three sets.
That leaves SamuelMertensBertens as our lone survivor. He grinded hard, he grinded long, and he always gave his best effort - just the way it's meant to be on clay. Even more so in the heavy autumn conditions.
Congratulations SaMeBe on your first Roland Garros women's trophy, and 7th (or so) slam overall!
