gabrielle | #BLM @backhandology I just hope all the players will be fine. According to his IG live last Friday night, Benoit was playing cards with Kiki and others. |

· 1h Hard to imagine some other players are not going to be withdrawn from the US Open after the contact tracing on Benoit Paire is complete. He's a social person & a card player. But what's clear is that the USTA will have had something like this in its scenarios. They modeled many |

1h One of savviest & most proactive steps @usopen has taken to limit Covid spread is being used right now in @benoitpaire case — all tournament badges imbedded with RF locator chip. Organizers can trace movements of infected person to see whom he/she was near — at BJKNTC and hotel. |
By:
Noah Rubin said in his podcast (linked in last week's thread) that, as of now, the players will not be made to withdraw even if they had close contact with Paire.
|
By:
Eleven players have apparently been identified as close contacts, again according to Noah Rubin (who sourced it from the french players)

Also, BOOM Sabine!

Noah isn't the most likeable person

he's pissed that he's not able to walk into the singles draw

is Gimelstob waiting in the shadows with this PTPA thing edy?

Hi Edy and Wo00se. Are you boys exxi2ted about Amazons primes Us open.

Mullets rock. Their renaissance is so beautiful. The rugby lads in both hemispheres are doing the mullet proud.

I'm surprised to see Tatjana Maria in the draw. She announced that she was pregnant in April. I can't find how pregnant she was then, and I can't find anything about her having given birth. So she might play five-six months pregnant, or after just recently having given birth.
|
By:
I suspect that she will have been 100% pregnant
|
By:
uhm...yes...I guess one could suspect that.

By:
Wasn't April 1st.
|
By:
Earliest reports I can find are dated April 3, in reference to a video "A day in the life of..." from the WTA. It will have been produced a few days prior to April 3, but no way was it an april fool's day prank.
|
By:
Yeah, I saw that. Sounds like a miscarriage then

· 11m I chose to come to US open over prague 125k as I fancied my chances of playing singles as 3rd alternate because I knew positive tests and close contacts would cause issues. But here we go again with rule changes. If I knew that anyone could play I’d not be here trying my luck. touchy subject, but she's right and I'd be annoyed if I was in her position too. |

By:
Would she not have shared the news if she had a baby? And would there not be a visible baby bump if she was still pregnant? And would you even take the risk of playing in these times if you were?
Anyway, let's hope it's one of those scenarios. |
By:
Well, I didn't see her yet today. Could have a massive baby tummy.
|
By:
Ok, I just saw recent pictures.
....she is not pregnant anymore. |

Bolkvadze has a truly tragic serve. Makes a ton of double faults, and she doesn't even do so by putting anything on either her first or second serve.
|
By:
I now understand why she only held serve two times in three sets in her first round match.

can you believe Dirk was on Tennis United with that dweeb Alex Zverev?
