Between 1980-2011 only 8 occasions where a slam was won by a player over 30. Currently on a run of 8 consecutive slams won by over 30's.

But who ever wins the final, when Del Potro turns 30 later this month there will be no player alive under 30 who has ever won a slam Shocked

Or course this is helped by the fact only 7 players have won slams in the last 13 seasons.

In 2002-3 there were 8 different players winning the slams.

Has peak tennis been reached?

With the riches afforded to them do younger players have the same drive as in the past? Are there any players out there with a hunger any more?

Even if it wasn't, which it is, Osaka would've been before him.

Not a great match up for Delpo going by the 4-14 head-to-head, but I'm hopeful he can be competitive.

He has taken at least 1 of the first 2 sets v Djokovic in 7 of their last 8 matches. He lobes it here, and the crowd love him.

So I've layed Joker 3-0 at 3.70

Come on Delpo. Bring some fire early doors.
