in was 72k to lay that time. It s weird but as ever some bots didnt take the usual all-in against that account. Those bots could now everything imo.

An example is the 1000 team. Those sums are usually fake , if you try to lay even for 2$ they disappear and another bot lays 1 tick over you.

They even can 'sense' your bets. A manner to get matched is lay for 10 tick higher or lower with small amounts, so all fake money is diseappearing in front of your bet.. hard to be done in live

it can feel like that. it's more that the bet is never up for more than 5 seconds after it hits the market. So if you're responding to the quickest "new" price, you'll never get matched.
they're just looking to hoover everything there and everything about to hit the market. |

Remove the time delay. Force bets to be available for a minimum of 3 seconds before they can be cancelled. Problem solved.

zero second delay, your bet can be provisionally matched based on best execution and queues, but you submit a score when you bet, meaning your bet will only be confirmed as being matched if the scoreline remains the same during the following 5 seconds otherwise it will be cancelled.
requires betfair to have good score feeds. could do the same in football and do away with all this suspension and cancellation. |

Its a good idea but there are a few problems with it. Firstly, Betfair (and users) would be reliant/dependent on a third-party. I don't ever want to be on the receiving end of a scoreboard screw-up, and as a corollary, there are potential integrity issues. Secondly, there are people well ahead of the skank-bot, so (presumably?) it would be shelling peas as normal for them.

I disagree with a 0 delay, there could be only maybe with sums that 'atm' arent going to be matched. Remember that in atp 1000 masters atp felt as technicians of the provider delayed the world feed, now it could be possible do trade live only with 7 sec delay for everybody

sorry.. *liquidity felt . I can see as now on first match some account (even me) getting hoovered for 1-2 games after realize that something changed
They did something for the first time once in Charleston with a jankovic match on 3rd set.. pics disappeared for a while.. everybody got hoovered as after pics where 6 sec from live |

on Masters 1000 event betfair should put a 7 sec delay . They do on soccer when needed, why dont on tennis? Too much direct interest? And they know the feeds are delayed. Ppl could be back betting on those major events...
