Piotr also claimed recently that Ostapenko got lucky in Charleston.
Is this a trustworthy source or is it like the fake you spread about Ostapenko calling Wozniacki a weaponless hack during the Charleston on-court coaching?
I didn't actually spread that news. I said I was sceptical. And yer this is official source.

That source from Ostapenko was someone reposting what she said about Radwanska last year.
I know Pliskova has a big serve, but Wozniacki has won 5 points on return all match in 7 return games, that is appalling.
Especially as Pliskova hasn't been holding that easily at all vs all her other opponents this week.
The return numbers in this match are actually spectacularly bad, because Pliskova's are pretty bad too.

BBC's project routes to the final are utter muggery. They don't take into account any lower seeds like Petra/Venus etc.
Like virtually none of their projected matches are going to happen past like R2.
Pliskova's game is effective but it is a specialist in sucking the life out of matches tbh.
She is going to be #1 highly likely. She has a good edge really.
Who was the last player to actually do the Eastbourne, Wimbledon double? It feels like it's not been done since Navratilova.

weird, I remember Novotna as being a massive surprise/upset to even be in the final
then again that is probably the first womens tennis match I ever watched
Novotna had been in 2 Wimbledon finals before winning it I think.
