Great tournament and Roger immense today. The real story was Dimitrov, very consistent and seems to have added the focus and tenacity now to be a multiple slam winner, and soon.
Agreed about Grigor. Hope he can keep it up. Even in the defeat against Rafa, he showed qualities I hadn't seen from him before.

that's been asked for about 5 years, I think her next goal will be to win 25, surpass Margeret Court, not that that record is meaningful in real terms, but it's probably her goal.
No idea how her body actually feels but she is moving well enough so who knows.

From tennisforum
Mertens signalled to the chair that she wanted a MTO, Martincova panicked, thought French Open qualifying was up next and threw her racquet at the umpire to be defaulted before Mertens could retire. Then Mertens said works every time, which started a brawl between the respective teams. True story.

it was probably just a normal racquet smash that nearly hit someone
official reason is given as verbal abuse of an official. Maybe she threatened to shove a ****g ball down a linejudge's throat.
