He also works for BBC. But his role has been reduced this year. He used to be the host of the radio part I think.

And he runs the highlights shows called Today at Wimbledon which starts before the tennis actually ends (the most annoying thing of all). It is the worst highlights show in history. It's basically let's get as many clueless people on top of the roof to salivate over a few shots Federer or Murray hit today. Give out the other results.

What I think is most annoying about Inverdale is he tries to pretend he knows, when he clearly doesn't.

He's normally surrounded by people who know quite a bit, he should let them do most the talking.

The hosts for ATP tour on Sky Sports (Marcus Buckland) and WTA Tour on BT Sport (Lynsey Hipgrave) are far better.

The german-language Eurosport fellas generally do a good job at that. Especially Stach seems to live tennis.

All this must bring up some bad memories for Dani.

Especially as I don't think it would be that hard to find those kind of people. There's quite a few people on twitter alone who have a good knowledge of the sport, involved in lower level journalism, who live and breathe tennis.

Tennis has way too many people just there on their name. That's not to say all pro's are bad, it's just some are, and the only reason they are in that job is because they are an ex-player.

For example when Martina is on BT Sport I think she is very good.

BBC still quite probably has the best and most comprehensive Wimbledon coverage of the world. Their Wimbledon coverage might even be the best major coverage of the entire year of the entire planet.

Sky Sports do the best job in the UK (on the US Open).

I assume you probably get the impression BBC is better than it is too. Because you probably just pick and choose streams on BBC website, and don't see the actual drivel they put out on TV.

The benefit of Wimbledon over the other slams is all the coverage is completely free here

When I had Sky Germany a few years ago they let you choose from 2 courts at Wimbledon (which they chose and swapped around) while preventing you from signing up from official streaming because they wanted the exclusive rights for their territory.
