no thread for this mathup till now?? you are welcome with your opinions!!
I for myself are not able to take LI at odds about 1,4 after the first class matches of Cibulkova. Its a little pitty, that I have not seen her match against Masha, but I have seen the matches against Halep and an very very week or tired or whatever Radwanska.

Na LI on the other hand played decent games after her match against Safarova. She played already two finals here and this experiance should help her, also her 4-0 H2H which should give a mental boost too.

What is the right strategy? I will wait and watch the first games an maybe there comes some better options with higher odds on LI?

Just can't see past Li Na here.

Cibulkova has surprised me a couple of times this week but the finals experience is massive in my opinion. That in itself makes this difficult if you don't fancy the current price on Li because early nerves could see her being gifted an early lead.

Na Li for me, maybe in 3 sets.

Cibulkovas' last two matches have been against two top players, Radwanska and Halep whose previous matches were both tough 3 setters. Thus Radwanska and Halep were possibly fatigued? Although saying this, Cibulkova also came off of a 3 set match against sharapova before beating Halep.

Its hard to know if the heat from last week has affected them - how quickly would they have recovered? I know Sharapova was exhausted after her 3 set match against Knapp - did she fully recover?

Na Li hasn't played anyone in the top 20, whereas Cibulkova has def. had the tougher draw playing 3 top players in her last 3 matches.

Na Li has the experience. She has been to the aus open final a few times previously. Nerves could be an issue for Cibulkova.

Both have only dropped one set in the tournament to date.

well i'm on Cibulkova myself...she's on a roll and i can't see the serial choker Li Na stopping her...i'm not worried about the h2h at all, had Cibulkova beaten Sharapova or Radwanska before ?
checkout each player's total of games lost in Oz and you will find Cibulkova has lost far, far less than Li Na...Cibulkova also beat far, far better player's than Li Na has.
i think Cibulkova will win and win easily...5/2 is fantastic value imo.

Cibulkova is simply nowhere near tall enough.

Radwanska demolished her a year back in the NSW Open.

The Radwanska that took the court on Thursday bore no resemblance to her usual precise self.

Li has an imminent use by date.

Assuming she can stave it off for a few more hours, this borders on a mismatch.

Cib is on a roll but Li has one slam already under her belt. Very difficult to call this one so Cib has to be a bet @ 3.5

Not seen any of the Ladies' draw here, but surely, even for all her fight, we won't be seeing the words "Dominika Cibulkova" and "Grand Slam champion" appearing in the same sentence?  Ever.

Tennis is such a dirty sport even the live score feeds are corrupted.
Definitely the dirtiest sport in the world.
Organized crime is so obviously prolific.

having money on Li Na is a tough experience. So many shots go long or when they go in they are on the line. Why not have some margin for error?
