Raonic has extremely powerful shots, but also has large margin on the shots, especially net clearance. Other big hitters like Berd or delPo have less margin. Raonic mi**** more though.

gsm
raonic looking aggressive here on return and it was what he was lacking lately, but is normal he had deep in form like every player has, and during that period you can see that he was practicing his footwork and hitting on the run ,he doesnt looking like wooden log like few months back, good progress for him |

a new betfair balance of 3600 awaits me
|
By:
mi**** ?!?
|
By:
Unplayable all tournament.
|
By:
Yes, he's improved a lot. Watched him tear Kohli apart live at the AO. He didn't stand a chance.
|
By:
"At 15 he was doing calculus". Erm, isn't it part of UK national syllabus before then?
|
By:
Yeah, he keeps getting better. Top 8 this year, maybe top 5 or 6?
|
By:
Market gifted us against Big Sam and did it again.
|
By:
raonic faced 1 breakpoint this week having 23 bp himself so far , thats sums it up
|
By:
That's just truly brutal.
|

By:
i've been betting Milos 2-0 all tournament
|
By:
his serve is huge
|
By:
Looking forward to Haas` press conference or comments, hear what he thinks.
|
By:
Tommy Haas came third in that match.
|
By:
|
By:
Yep, well inside top ten for sure.
|
By:
I thought about 2-0 today but just went with the MO, total annihilation that was.
|
By:
Looks like he's put on a fair bit of muscle. Going to be a brutal fast court player.
|
By:
![]() well done milos, maybe not always exciting but at least working hard progressing and making most of his talent unlike some other young plonkers like tomic janovicz dimi etc. waste of talent |
By:
You're right there. His game oozes with effort on and off the court.
|
By:
Some of that hitting was brutal. Great to see a talent try off court to be all that they can be. Tomic, take note!
|
By:
;[p slagging off Janowicz?

Haas saying it's some of the heaviest hitting he's ever played against. Would like to know the speed of some of those forehands, reminded me of Del Potro at the US when he won. Raonic is the first player I've seen in a long time who I've seen as a potential GS winner.
|
By:
watch him play on a not so fast court and u won't be sayin that.
|
By:
Until he actually gets to a grand slam. Fair play though, he looks like he's getting better all the time.
|
By:
The US could very well be his one day.
|
By:
watch the 2012 us open match raonic v murray it was 3-0 annihilation. raonic is the tennis equivalent of a cricketing flat track bully. the slam surfaces are no where near as quick as the sap open was.
|
By:
anybody watched the match? why haasa lost it? errors, mug mode or something else?
|
By:
Raonic is improving. Watch Federer rip Djoko a new one in Aus then lose to him next year, same with Del Potro. He is improving, maybe he won't be good enough but a season is a huge time for up and coming players.
|
By:
well raonic beat mugro murray and lost tight match to ferrer last yr in barcelona on clay
yeah smb slagging him because he need to change attitude and work harder, he has faster serve than milos but obviously need to put more effort to got it in raONIC CONSISTENCY, ALL ABUT TRAINING, I BELIEVE HE NEED A TIME TO ESTABLISH HIMSELF but need to progress step by step get the head down and work, he knows that but he is stubborn mofo, but i know he will make it eventually |
By:
Think I am going to have to re-assess my opinion of Raonic, its costing me too much opposing him.
Opposed him here and big time in the Aussie with Koleschriber who normally handles big servers OK. I think I was took in by the way Fed toyed with Raonic, but that was Fed. |
By:
seems that he is starting to brake people and dont need TB's anymore.
|
By:
I was at that match Tonyface.
Kohli could not even see the ball. 235, 228, 230, etc, etc. I wouldn't oppose him these days, he's improved and not just a big serve and FH anymore. |
