I think he did end up on Errani, but only after "piling" into Stosur just before she lost first set 5-7 and then "piling" into Errani when Stosur won 2nd set 6-1 before "piling" into Errani for the 3rd set.

So I guess final book was

Errani:  +£47
Stosur:  -£2,858

Ferrer is in awe of Nadal. He's given him too much respect and probably likes him too much. Add that to his pre-match quotes that it's difficult enough to win a set never mind a match, and he's never going to beat Nadal. It's almost like a training match between two mates this when you know exactly who's going to win.

I agree ricky. But when it's that difficult to start with, you can't go out with the attitude he seems to have. Nadal is a born winner - you could see that from his match with Monaco. Ferrer is a scrapper but he's not shown that today.

Ferrer was the better man for the first 10 minutes. Since then it's been nigh on one-way traffic. This doesn't look like the Ferrer you normally see.

Understandable really , if you accept he's in the final the 1.27 will drift if he plays Novak to maybe 1.36 but if he plays Federer you'll be lucky to get 1.2

Me too. Think that was why I felt even more let down by that.

He refused to take his huge opportunity in the first set and from then on it was downhill all the way.  Likely he would have lost anyway but he would come out of the match better.
