Continue....

Of course that was an epic match ...as was nadal fed final at wimby 2008..But they are different types of matches..That is the beauty of tennis..Yes there were less good rallies..But what is also intriguing is the pysical and mental attributes needed for this..Ok they are not best of returners..But to go through that is very commendable and just so unique for many reasons..That is why it's classic

How can you really watch this again of course..Will be tough to make a best of clip..
But this shows how tough you need to be in a sport many non tennis fan's consider to be not very physical

Good for sport, good for tennis..Good for them...Good for wimby..But they milked it more than a farmer with a farm of horny cows

imo Mahut lost this match yesterday when he decided to stop.

Maybe he was tired too as Isner was, But Isner serve last 5 games went from 215Km/h to 170Km/h. If u stop, u give Isner the chance to recover and be able to serve bombs again.

Mahut yesterday decision was not good at all. Easy to say this now, i know, but i couldnt understand Mahut decision the way Isner was moving last games yesterday.

Report Ashley_Young June 24, 2010 5:16 PM BST
why are they getting a presentation ?? Wimbledon is so up it's own aarse it's laughable
Report Lori June 24, 2010 5:17 PM BST
It would need to be four points ahead VV, otherwise serving first becomes an advantage I think.
Report Hinton. June 24, 2010 5:21 PM BST
Because they smashed so many records, played for over 11 hours and left themselves with little to no chance of making further rounds, with the exception of playing a 'short 5 setter' playing opponent in the next round.

Warrants recognition in my opinion.
