Polish names aren't too difficult once you get used to seeing how certain things are pronounced. Watching a lot of football helps because you get exposed to all sorts of names and sounds in different languages, which means you can generally pronounce a word in another language that you've never seen before fairly well.

yeah its not that bad only some letters are different spelled but its always the same like W in polish is said as V, J like Y (jerzy - yeshy) we have some unique syllables that arent even in czech , slovakian or russian but overall its not that bad if foreigners can just spell W and J correctly . same me i never learned french but can pronounce the way my gf getting wet immediately

maybe commentator isn't doing anything wrong and it's only in my head, but when he says Annica Beck it sounds like Ana Quebec to me.

may be i've been always bashing Koenig when it was actually this guy 
probably. i dont like koenig, but being objective i have to admit he is a decent commentator - if you compare him to the average inapt comm.
it's mainly his intonation(...) which can drive you just about insane

Hmm, the German on there says it that way, but everytime I've heard her name pronounced on German tv shows the hosts have pronounced it lɪˈzɪki.
Surely the Polish way is the correct way; it's a Polish name.

we pronouce every single letter not run of letters like in english , "ts" is close to pronunciation of c only
dont think germans use c like polish therfore german pronunciation should be close to what caramba said but this is polish surname so ahould be pronounced polish way. same like with robbie grabarz english high jumper, its polish and comentators were saying it that way during olimpic
