gonzo claims he could of had a play on a ball that was called out...it was in and roddick given set....bit harsh
|
By:
cilic or roddick for u?
|
By:
broken from 40-0 at *5-6, silly, he'd had his warnings aswell, few other 40-0 to 40-30 - deuce. dissapointing, gonzo free swinging in the next round would have been great
|
By:
5-6. Gonzo saved several sps at 4-5 and 5-6 and roddick hit a forehand that was called out, he challenged and won the set.
|
By:
Ah, what goes around comes around i guess, still dislike him for beijing and all that.
like you, i need a bit of time to think about the cilic rod match. interested to know jsimp's thoughts ;) |
By:
gonza left the ball as he thought it was out, roddick challenged and it was in
nothing to see there imo, right decisoin |
By:
jason u remember what thread it was i advised charles 1980 not to waste any money on jmdp ;)
|
By:
no lol, some major ttt-age coming is there :D
|
By:
well i just want to see if charles1980 took my advice...he said 'any reason why jmdp cant win this week' i replied no, i just no he wont lol
|
By:
who do you think's a better play for RG - djoko or delpo ? i remember you tipping djoko a while back, just wondering if you've changed your mind or not
|
By:
JB i did say that but also after the us open win for jmdp i had pencilled him in for the french also lol....they are the 2 for me...will have to see how feds form is going in...hard call between djoko and dmdp...u?
|
By:
lol it was my thread
|
By:
it'll be harder to get good prices for rg, rafa aint gonna be 1/2 this time thats for sure
|
By:
delpo woulda been my pick a month or so ago, i'm a little less decided now. gota look for someone who can beat nadal over 5 and that ain't easy to do, if djoko decides that he wants to win every clay tournament again like last year, he'll be screwed.
|
By:
i do still seethe i didn't take the 10/1 on fed last year during the us HC season
|
By:
ahh the charles comments werent on that thread lol.....fed was 9s wasnt he?
|
By:
nah i think he was 11s at one point
|
By:
ahh 10s....wouldnt rule him out this time now he has 1
|
By:
did u watch cilic v potro?
|
By:
i couldnt resist the cilic price...backed gonzo also...decent nights work all in all....
|
By:
yeh watched it, cilic sure learnt his lessons from NYC. also seen the gonzo 4th set incident, must admit that's harsh
|
By:
murray and djokovic outright now. Muzza to take this down.
|
By:
Would gladly take that as the final.
|
By:
me too
|
By:
No harm in dreaming.
|
By:
ahh a decent schedule tonight.....davy v nando 1st up....watch that and get up for end of fed match...middle 2 matches not worth staying up for
|
By:
2nd after wta :(
|
By:
yeah says 1.30ish...thats fine as NFL championship game on
|
By:
jason i was looking forward to nando v roddick the final i was promised earlier today :^0
|
By:
never mind, have to make do with hewitt vs roddick :D
|
By:
:^0
|
By:
moving on to the semi finals...thanks to the murray doubters for the big prices....11/4 last season and 4 points bigger this time :^0 so many pros around here
|
By:
sweeeeeeeeeeeet.
|
By:
Can't see Cilic beating Murray/Fed back to back after long wins over Tomic, Wawrinka, Del Potro and Roddick, so i'm prepared to take a bit of a hit on him. Murray will be going into this match with at least an ability to hit a backhand and everytime he's had that before, he's beaten Cilic, but even if he somehow finds a way to lose, Federer will take care of him.
Lay Marin Cilic to win Australian Open @ 24 (£50) Still undecided about what to do with Tsonga atm but i'll leave that for now, too tired atm. |
By:
2 down 1 to go..come on muz
|
By:
Didn't green out on Tsonga, was going to if he'd won first set vs Fed but was pulverised. Down to Murray vs Fed, currently:
+£74.30 Fed +£167.50 Muzz Since I want to enjoy the final pressure free, i'm going to give moreorless equal green on both: Roger Federer to win Australian Open @ 1.64 (£50) +£104.70 Fed +£117.50 Muzz Good evening. |

Santiago could be interesting this year.
Haas & Gasquet signed up for it, add in the move from Vina del Mar to Santiago (a certain Chilean's home town) |
By:
Gasquet's withdrawn mate, think he's got a back problem. Have the draws been released yet for next week ?
|
By:
doh, missed that :(
Not yet afaik |
By:
Haas has withdrawn due his back too - oh well :|
