Defenisvely this has been superb..lost count how many times on big points he has been forced wide and produced a slice just over the net...if his level dropped slightly he would be in trouble.
Just the start needed for murray mania |
By:
wise move considering his nightmare player fed is in the same group.
|
By:
I wasn't prematch, but prices outright hardly shifted much during this so I kept on laying.
|
By:
Nick...I have layed Fed, Nadal and Soderling outright...
|
By:
who do you like as the winner mcchik..before the murray match today?
|
By:
Nadal, I guess, if I had to pick. Now I don't know, bounce too low for Wafa.... still...lol
|
By:
this has been impressive...level never dropped once
|
By:
anyone else finding the tennis weirdly pedestrian, the court is so slow it like like they are all playing in slow motion. seem to recall it was much quicker last year.
it just has to suit nadal and murray doesnt it.... |
By:
As you know nick im on murray...cant see past fed or murray this week
|
By:
yeah, murray all the way
|
By:
So are you on Fed or Murray Harry?
|
By:

By:
blimey fed hasnt broke sweat here..very easy...prob see these 2 again on sunday
|
By:
utter drubbing, fed has cut out the free points, the ue's, looks totally in control of his game. key thing will be to see if he can do it when the pressure is on, when it's semi and final. if he does, then jesus, what price for oz
|
By:
When the pressure is on lol...im sure he will cope nick [;)]
But ur right, total control today, slower courts i presume? giving him a little more time....you think these 2 will be back on sunday? |
By:
7/2 fed for oz already taken nick
|
By:
yes harry when the pressure is on
thats been the issue with him over the last 18 months, with the exception of oz, when it really gets tight he has been found wanting, esp his forehand what concerns me is if he is attempting to play more conservatively, cut out the ue's, get to the net more, it could completely re-awaken his dominance |
By:
Do you think he feels such pressure outside the slams?
|
By:
Nick do you have any outstanding bets on that itv show that i wont mention lol?? looks like that fool from the Flavella may well win the lot if this campaign continues..i see the figures were leaked.
|
By:
they werent leaked, it was a cowell ramp to try to get people to realise the gravity of the situation, which imo may well work against him and encourage more people to jump on the anti cowell bandwagon.
i think 2.4 on katie as next one to go is enormous i am on one d and matt and rebecca big greens for x factor, biggest now matt by a long way and i have about 700 quid on stacey solomon at 11/4 - i am going to lay off my stake at around 1.8 soon hopefully oh, and i really fancy weird al for the hennessy i am on murray for tennis - wont write him off yet |
By:
Ur prob right regarding cowell leaking it....but with that BT worker being sacked due to leaking info it could of come from anywhere
Thats a good bet you have on stacey....nice price you have...thought she looked nailed on for the win but i now think ryder will win. ive obv backed diamond harry [;)] actually im on burton port 14s and 13s, a friend advised me so it was rude not to take him up on a tip, lambourn tips dont come my way too often |
By:
just because I've not been around doesn't mean you can talk rubbish on this thread
|

By:
ha, hi neo
how u see london shaping up? fed looked ominously contained.... |
By:
neo on ferrer..nick on berdy...someone spiked yer drinks this week [;)]
|
By:
Fed looks imposing - Murray looked lost.
Still think Soda looks vulnerable against anyone who can get a ball back consistently and I don't see him getting through the group unless Fed lets him. Thought Roddick played ok enough to beat Nadal, the way Rafa was playing - but some clutch stuff / some nifty defence kept him in it. Berd looks very like a 0-3, so still tough to call who goes through in Group A. |
By:
fed v muz final
|
By:
Really shouldn't have bothered this week - I didn't have any huge views - have taken a couple of chances in matches I probably tried to make more of a case for than I should have done. Live and learn I suppose.
Cricket should be entertaining from a sporting perspective - I'm not a cricket bettor - just enjoy watching it, which is a novelty for me. |
By:
hate test cricket...cricket world cup i can stretch 2
|
By:
When I was young, I used to listen to Test Match Special on the radio during the winter months of tours when I was supposed to be asleep - ah the rebel I was
I actually prefer the radio commentary still. |
By:
yeah fortunately didnt back berdy though, and once we saw the surface.....well, that was right
still think murray has a good shot |
By:
lol used to get NFL on armed forces radio
|
By:
There is only 1 thing worse than a 7-5 set against you..... 2 of them
|
By:
Time to back the Bryan Bro's.
|
By:
i see you are about NICK...what do you think about murrays price outright now?? you still confident??
|
By:
not confident harry, think tonight might be three sets, but he still has a chance. i am a little concerned that fed's new restrained approach is going to cause his opponents a few headaches
|
By:
Anybody get on the Bryans at 3.75 after they lost to Poles?
|
By:
jesus were they that big
|
By:
...murrays serving stats were fecking horrible v fed...surely he cant serve as bad in the semi..fed does look superb...you not fancy a bet on him..6/4 still
i couldnt get on the bryans as i dont want to take up any more time watching **** doubles tennis |
