Lame effort from Youzhny today. Appreciated that Stakho would be a tough match for him but still hoped Youzhny would put up more of a fight from a set down, but those latter points in the breaker probably proved the difference, nothing to choose between them at that point but Stakho used the momentum well.

I probably won't do every week because like you say, there are going to be some dud weeks where either there's no liquidity, value or some tournament in the clay season where Nadal is a 1.2 shot outright and it's not worth it.

Nadal to win Doha @ 2.36 (£20) First and foremost, he'll crush Kubot who's going to be a lamb to the slaughter for him with his net-rushing etc, so Nadal is essentially in the final. Realistically, he's facing either Davydenko or Federer. I'm hoping he'll get Federer, great record in the HTH, pretty nice court speeds and conditions etc for him, hasn't looked at all bothered yet this week albeit from mediocre opposition at best. The other half, if we get the Davy vs Fed match, it could be tricky to call if Davy takes his brain to the court but let's say he does beat Federer, then you can more than make a case for Davy being fave over Nadal in the final. So a Nadal vs Federer final is certainly not a bad thing for this bet, his finals record is 11-5 over Federer, who hasn't won a 250 for a long while. Good luck. |

Certainly crossed my my genio but couldn't bring myself to do it, i don't think one 'swallow' makes a summer, one win over Federer doesn't suddenly make the task that much easier, and tonight's match is a testing stumbling block for one. Federer winning tomorrow is exactly what I need, hopefully in 3, horribly drawn out sets.
