For the top guys, I see Federer as most likely, he'll be after another record in the 'super 9' to make finals in each, and is kinda fresh, not a bad draw either.
For an outsider, I like Ljubicic's draw. |

why is djokovic not favourite? federer's best days are past him and clearly struggling...surely time to get on djok here
not sure about murray, won valencia in 1st gear without trying...on his day he's prob the best bet, but i think there's something about djok right now. am considering putting a wedge on him...... |

but have just had 1k total on both murray and djokovic E/W after seeing the draws, bound to fail if you're on it, mug. will be shorter come tuesday if nothing else. i do think tsonga is a bit of a danger, maybe not a huge one, but he should make the semi's...if he's playing well then will be a danger to djok cant have federer these days, think he's a huge, huge false favourite. |

if i was on it its more likely to win and you know it just spat out my coffee :^0 :^0 :^0 mug post of the year, pmsl and fwiw, tsonga only really has nadal as a danger in his quarter, i dont rate his chances but as seeds he only has simon, robredo or nadal to face...so i think prob faces djok in the SF's, if he's playing well then i'll lay off but 1k each on murray and djok E/W for me, hopefulyl they meet in the final. i guess if we're on the same bet then i'd better say 'good luck', but it's just a token gesture, because you're a mug. |

tsonga is a bigger danger to himself than anybody else. it's only hypothetical but i would prob hedge a bit if he plays djok in semi's and he's playing well.

Still considering Davy, just gota work out how motivated he'll be. I don't think Del Potro will win, well i'd be surprised. Nadal will need to play incredibly well, though he has a handy start to get into gear. Tsonga hasn't a hope, he's playing awful recently. Will Murray go out for the win this week ? Tough draw regardless, arguably the toughest of the main guys. If Sod was fit and ready, i'd back him without hesitation.

Disagree, i'm not convinced about Murray this week, he was pretty vulnerable in Valencia with a relatively kind draw, he's got a bad one here, albeit against some nice match-ups. If he's a set down and in deep trouble, I have to question if he'll be 100% here thinking about the match to win, other priorities.
For me, it's Federer and Soderling i've decided. |

anybody who saw federer's forehand today will tell you that backing him at any price lower than murray/djokovic is a terrible terrible move....soderling...well i hope for him but he'll need some luck...one always seems to come through at this tournament going on past winners, but this year you look at the usual underdogs like sod, tsonga, gonzo, davy, maybe even cilic, monfils et al...all of them have had at least one or two poor, poor losses in the last two weeks although davy most likely out of those for sure
motivation for murray not an issue imo, think the 'wonder if xxx will take this seriously' is one of the most overplayed reasons for not backing a player on this forum, it's pretty ridiculous imo...when's the last time murray's not taken a tournament seriously? ?:| it looked like he wasnt taking valencia seriously at all when he was screwing around with dropshots, but he does that all the time...and he still won |
