SIMON vs Youzhny(1.92) 60% sure

-surely simon should be a warmer fave to beat youzhny here. I went against Youzh in japan when they last met. Simon was frustrating to watch in that game, and Youzhny found inspiration in an epicly tight match. Watching Youzh's burnout against Istomin doesn't give me any confidence of siding with him in this encounter and i believe his energy levels may have been sapped by his heroics in Moscow----Whereas Simon has 'come good' at the right time (as he did this time last year) and he needs the points to qualify for London. h 2 h-- 4-0 Youzh IS a tad worrying but I dont see how Youzh could be a 'bogey' player for Simon,so hopefully revenge will be on thecards here.

others..

Murray 1.1(lay)against Montanes --he talks of pain after matches, nice trading op if monty can keep with him and poss take 1st set

Verdasco 1.37 lay
Federer 1.04 lay any thoughts?

Just bizarre.

Robredo is a consistent performer and is not going to retire. I believe he can stick with Verdy quite easily. Any ways Verdy hasnt got the power to neutralise Robredo that easily like many of the top 10 do. This is an ugly 1.37 shot.Ive been stung by so manyof these lately and solemnly believe that laying him may be more rewarding, from a trading viewpoint.

I am looking forward to this match since Tuesday. I think Stepanek isn't in his best form at the moment. He was absolutly poor against Melzer in Vienna. He was crap against Schuttler (though he won 6:2, 6:0!). And he has won against indoor mug Serra in two tie-breaks after losing the first set. He won't have any chance at an half-way good indoor player. Like Cilic. I was hoping for 1,50+ for this, now he will be about 1,75 - 1,80 because of that marathon match today.

Yes, his chances are a bit lower now because of tiredness etc. I still think he will destroy Stepanek here. I know I rate the actual form of players a bit too high, and it's the same here, but my year has been pretty well with those type of picks.

Cilic @ 1,70+ awesome value imo

Oh, you bribed them ?
Report tom_peppers_evil_abandoned_son November 5, 2009 10:40 PM GMT
actually yeah, kalusi, stepanek was shocking against sela and couldn't convertall them bps. Looked jaded. I can see Cilic'c power being too much for the worm

You said it.

yep, as much as I rate Cilic as a first class mug, there's no denying he's posting good (and alot of) wins on hard lately. the gangly one just seems more consistent with his groundstrokes now. Mentally, well the jury is still out I suppose. But I've lost all confidence in steps since his melzer loss. I don't buy the "well he had no points to gain" argument - the way he lost was just shocking (although melzer attributed it to bad match-up). And Step's wins since then do little to restore confidence. I'm leaning towards Cilic on this. If the Step we all know and love turns up he should take it - just don't think that Step will turn up.

yeah can't seeit either, he's tired like the rest of them. Steps a-game is topnotch though he looks ripe for the beating now against any one half decent. And when you've got a 'free point' machine like Cilic its usefull against his current uninspiring game.
Cant beleive hes 30 now also.

Cilic almost lost to Troicki today. He won't beat Stepanek

I'd say Verdy has loads of power.. nearly killing a topform Nadal in Aus Open, admitted some time ago..

i mean power in the sense of a booming serve like soderling or roddick, or a forehand like gonzalez- dont tell me verdasco has a top serve.
