Can't see Chardy losing this. Decent win over Blake in the first round and Korolev struggled against Bolelli.

Easy win for Chardy.

Doesn't always work like that Kharmel.

Nice logic.

I want to bring that example to the French Open this year: Federer struggled against Haas and was 2 sets down and break point 3-4 down in the third. It was in the 4.th round. He won that tournament. A new day is a new match. If tennis was like that logic Kharmel stated I guess it would be pretty easy to predict the outcomes.

Yes, there is no logic in tennis most of the times.

Like Lopez in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago - loses about 8 first round matches in a row, including indoors to Vassallo, then out of no where finds form and beats the on fire Soderling.

Chardy starting to put it together again. When both of these are in-form I'd take Chardy every time.

Chardy still a bit overrated for me - got alot of talent but decides to play like a ball basher most of time. Also his return of serve leaves alot to be desired on fast courts.

But Korolev can some days serve like Karlovic, and others serve like Cipolla. So depends on how his serve is working.

Did you see the final game against Blake?

I've seen Korolev's best level a couple of times this season and it was absolutely smoking, not seen that from Chardy yet this year myself. One of those clearcut cases of whoever does best on the day, no real point in looking at the formbook or HTH.
