My only play on the series to date has been Layton TM based on the dead heat game, since it was reduced to 3 person final. I suspect they will carry him into the final if they have to. The 40 is patently being reserved for when it is needed most.

Tonight was harsh on Nigel, suspect he wins the PV on the back of it but going forward people will be seeing Ellie as the better dancer. Think Bobby will drop into bottom two with Angela

Well the only other runner it could be is Ellie, and if she was leading the vote there would be no need to continually fake errors for Nigel. You could see there that he has had more than enough of it!

My instinct is that they would not want to have to eliminate him at the semi stage if he was vote topping, if it ever got out.

They're not fake errors. He's ballsed up most weeks. Bit like Annabel til recently

His styling was terrible. They are very cute, as they gave him the p1mp and appeared to be supporting with the big band etc, but it was lame staging and immediately deflating with the negative feedback. If you contrast it with Joe's staging for the same dance at Blackpool, who was an inferior dancer to Nigel. They had Joe where they wanted at that point.

Positive for Nigel backers is that they put him 2nd bottom (if he avoids bottom 2 that is) means they are confident he outpolls Angela.

The dance off is only performative obviously. The market assumes, reasonably, that the producers would not kick Layton out for Angela.

I could get lucky with the top male plays, as I feel like the plotting is to get Layton to be tm as the only runner in that category making the final, the producers could then feel really pleased with themselves. Ideal scenario for them, Layton 'defeats' Nigel in the semi final dance off.

Croft being matched at 5.4 and is 8/1 on the hs + 13/2 tf I know most people can't get much on, but even so, quite the differential.
