With the loss of a couple of our main shows, the forum`s gone very quiet, but we can`t let one of the old stalwarts go without a thread!
Always pleasing to see plenty of WTF??? prices being taken, and we have some real beauts already this year, the standouts being, as usual in Specials, those at the top of the market;
Tom Ball, laid at 3.1!!! Jon Courtenay wasn``t a singer, he was a comedic, piano-playing singer songwriter. Colin Thackeray was a Chelsea Pensioner. Scotland dragged Jai over the line. Paul Potts was, well, he was Paul Potts! Tom`s good, and likeable, but he`s no 3.1 shot, max red
Born To Perform, laid at 3.0, obviously get the feel-good-for-voting-for-them vote, not sure that`s enough, much harder for a group than it was for Lost Voice Guy and, if they sing the same song three times, it`ll make that 3.0 even madder. Least inexplicable position of the market leaders, but still max red at the prices
Frontline Singers, matched at 7.0; if a genuinely frontline nurse who was dealing with the chinese virus during the height of the boll0x can`t trouble the judges, this lot have nfc, max red
Dane Bates Collective laid at 13.0; who? Despite being made something of, as if he`s world-famous, I`ve never heard of him, or his dreary `collective`, max red
Only really backed two acts; Amber and Nymeria are the best dog act we`ve seen on this, a whole new level above Pudsie, got a bit at 200. And the best, most entertaining act of all, `The Freaks`; on them at 16.0. Both acts have to somehow give us three different routines, which won``t be easy, but there`s not much depth of competition
Depending on price, I`ll likely be backing Maxwell too; he`s made Tom`s 3.1 even more ridiculous

The boy singer was good, but that was the perfect song choice; even if he can he do others so well, young singers have a dreadful record
Attraction Junior were most disappointing, a dismal dance act done in silhouette; cliched and banal messaging, rather than the innovative shape-forming emotion-stirring of the originals
The choir were good, but not as good as that Welsh crowd
The doctor lost me before he started singing, for going along with the fake radio stuff. Who votes for fakes? Besides, which singer do you vote for? The upper-middle class doctor on five grand a week, or the busker on a few coins and lots of abuse per hour of standing in the cold and rain?
