Uninspiring selection for the girls.
Bella's has been done to death, dull dirge with some new rap shoehorned in Molly has done this before so nothing new Natural Woman could go either way. Has been done too many times but can be hailed as a triumph with Scarlett sobbing or called a cliche. Shan - not convinced this has ever done anyone any favours. Groups Great fun and plenty to perform for A&A. Hate choirs, hate Lion King so phook off. Anything original can go either way - be left to go down like a lead balloon or hailed as the greatest bit of song writing ever, tends to be the latter these days. Strange choice for the boy band as doesn't really go anywhere and hard to imagine lots of different voices doing it. |

Danny - predictable and uninspiring, no doubt tears from the fugly old codger.
Giovanni - give the grinning pillock another chance to stomp around on stage shouting. Janice - interesting choice, but hard to imagine an old soul voice performing it. Ola - no comment. Anthony - we've heard this before so nothing new. Strange choice for Armstrong - he seems fairly understated as does the song. Potentially very good for Brendan. Strange how Life on Mars has been used on the programme so much in recent years. Not convinced it is a positive unless Dalton puts a silky soul spin on it. Speaking of spinning - could well be plenty from John Lennon, Aretha Franklin and David Bowie tonight. |
