I really love the way Ch5 inserted that half-hour break in the show to generously give us the opportunity to "enjoy" the kind of dross American sitcom  that we may have easily overlooked under a more conventional televisual broadcasting regime of forcing people to watch their preferred choice of program in one single installment and then leaving them high and dry afterwards, thus having to go to all the effort of channel-surfing to find further pleasurable avenues of viewing. Thanks Ch5 - we all appreciated it.
