The market always had Carol or Jamelia as likely to go. On Monday Jamelia was 10/11 with Carol 9/4. Jeremy was 5/1 with 20/1 bar Thursday and Jamelia was 11/10, Carol 7/4, Jeremy 6/1 Friday 8am, Jamelia 5/4, Carol 11/8 (up to 7/4 Internet bookies only), Jeremy 10/1 Saturday 8am and Carol was now fav at 6/5. Jamelia 13/8, Jeremy 8/1, Kellie ranging from 16/1 to 50/1 Betfair had £4,604 matched on this market. Carol's highest matched was 3.6, lowest 1.37 & LPM was 1.49. Her LPM in the Outright market was 950 Carol danced 3rd and the other bottom two was Kellie who danced 8th. Kellie was saved by all 4 judges. This was KFG's (Kellie's partner) first ever dance off Jamelia traded between 4.6 and 1.98, the 4.6 being LPM Kellie traded between 60 and 25, the 25 being LPM Betfair's Bottom 2 market had £500 matched Kellie was offered at 8/1 on Thursday by one bookie who had prices for Bottom 2, which quickly shortened to 6/1, into 4/1 early Friday morning and was only 5/2 Saturday morning This bookie also offered 2/1 for someone getting a 10 (Peter received two) which shortened to 7/4, 6/4 then 5/4 Saturday morning, the last time I looked |

Jamelia was the odds on fav to go this week. On Monday she was best priced 8/13 and pretty much stayed at that price all week. Jeremy was 100/30 with 9/1 bar. Saturday morning and Jamelia was 4/7, Jeremy 7/2, Katie 7/1, 12/1 bar, Katie shortened a little, into 5 and 6/1, during the day. Betfair had £6,340 matched on this market. Jeremy's highest matched was 6.8 (earlier in the week), Lowest and Last price matched was 2.02. He shortened from the 4 to 5 range beforehand to trading between 3 and 4 during/after dancing, before then having £110 matched at 2.46 and £69 matched at 2.02, the only money matched below 3. His LPM in the Outright market was 250 after trading around the 100 mark during the week. It was generally thought they very much wanted Jeremy to get to Blackpool, which is next weekend, and even had him dancing in pimp, but his QS was dire and he was bottom of the leaderboard on 21 points. The other bottom two was Jamelia who danced 3rd and was 2nd bottom on the leaderboard. This was Jamelia's 4th time in the dance-off but she was still saved by all 4 judges (all 4 judges having agreed every week so far this series). Jamelia traded between 2 (also her LPM) down to 1.41 with small amounts matched at 1.35, 1.29 & £38 at 1.1. Betfair's Bottom 2 market had £884 matched. Jamelia was matched between 1.2 and 1.1 whilst Jeremy traded between 2.88 and 1.6. |

8th Elimination - Jamelia
Jamelia was always long odds to go this week. On Monday she was best priced 2/7 and stayed at that price most of the week, shortening a tad to 1/4 on Saturday Betfair had £3,286 matched on this market. Jamelia's highest matched was £15 at 1.4 then 1.34 and shorter. Lowest matched was £28 at 1.12 then 1.15 upwards. LPM was 1.27 Jamelia danced 2nd and received 31 points putting her 2nd bottom on the leaderboard. Peter (danced 5th) was bottom with 29 points and was the other person in the bottom 2. His highest price matched to go was £4 at 75 then 36 downwards. Due to his low score he, unsurprisingly, shortened to go during the show. His lowest price matched was 7 and LPM 8.6. Craig, Darcey then Bruno all saved Peter before Len revealed he would have saved Jamelia. Betfair's Bottom 2 market had £328 matched. The only money matched on Jamelia was £40 at 1.01 & £42 matched at 1.25. The only money matched on Peter was £16 at 1.2, £10 at 2.9 & £50 at 4.5 |

Last Monday Kellie & Katie were generally 9/4 shots to go at the weekend with Peter & Helen 4/1 Just before Saturday's show Peter had shortened a little and was best priced at 3/1 (well 7/2 with bookies you can't bet with) Betfair had £3,331 matched on this market. Peter's highest matched was 5.2, lowest 1.46 and lpm 1.63 Peter danced 5th and was joint bottom of the leaderboard pre Quickstepathon. He was marked bottom in that which then put him solely bottom of the leaderboard The other bottom 2 was Kellie who had danced 1st. Her highest price matched to go was £10 at 4.5 then 3.95 downwards. Lowest matched 3 (apart from £10 at 2.5 & 2.52). Her lpm was 3.85 All the judges choose to save Kellie Betfair's Bottom 2 market had £320 matched. Just before Saturday's show Katie was best priced 13/8, Kellie 2/1 and Helen still freely available at 3/1. Georgia was 25/1 After all the dances, there was a gamble on Anita (bottom of the leaderboard) who was now fav to go Betfair had £7,243 matched on this market Helen's highest matched was 6, lowest 3 with lpm 4. She danced 6th (last) and was 2nd bottom of the leaderboard The other bottom 2 was Georgia who had danced 1st and was joint 2nd on the leaderboard. Her highest price matched to go was £2 at 110, £2 at 100, £3 at 95 then £14 at 70. Lowest matched 32 with lpm 55 Anita was matched between 14.5 down to 2.3 plus £37 matched at 2 & £32 at 1.91. Her lpm was 2.7 Katie matched between 5.4 down to 2 plus £20 at 1.86. Lpm 3.6 Kellie matched £4 at 9.4 then between 7 and 2.28. On Friday afternoon/evening a large amount, around 5k, was again put up trying to back Jay. Initially at 1.51 then by 7am Saturday moved to 1.49 where it eventually got matched. Jay McGuiness.............1.34 - 1.55 (1.55 before dancing Saturday, same after but then shortened to 1.4s when scored. Saturday 5pm Kellie was trading 1.95 - 1.99, Katie 3.2 - 3.4, Anita 6.2 - 7 After Kellie's high scoring dances, she obviously drifted during the show with Katie going odds on and Anita shortening too Anita's highest matched was £4 at 13, £6 at 11.5 then 8.8 downwards. Lowest was £4 at 1.6 then 4.1 upwards. LPM 4.2 The other bottom 2 was Katie. Not exactly bear but I did wake up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up and hems, unbelievably that's exactly what I had for breakfast, even the number was right! I have 3 weetabix every other day for breakfast which I alternate with corn flakes or shreddies or shreddied wheat on the other days, for those who are interested

Week 2, 1st Elimination - Melvin Odoom
Melvin was 2/1 and clear 2nd fav to go at the beginning of last week. On Friday the best price of 7/4 was under pressure and Saturday morning the best you could get was 6/4 Ed was drifting all week (on Betfair, the HS were being stingy) with mid to high 2s getting matched in the later part of last week (1.4 had been matched though when the market was first loaded). He went much higher after dancing whilst Melvin was heading towards Evs before he danced then odds on after. Lowest matched on him was 1.4, which was also the LPM Anastacia was the other bottom 2, and matched as low as 4.1 after dancing (albeit for small). She had injured herself earlier on Saturday, affecting her dancing, and couldn't participate in the dance off, resulting in it just going to PV £6,480 was matched on Betfair |
