From Tellymix.....

The I’m A Celebrity 2013 line up will be revealed soon, but who’s rumoured to be going into the jugnle this year?

A number of names have been linked to the show and here we recap the latest tabloid speculation and internet chit chat over which celebs we can expect to see on I’m A Celeb this year.

TOWIE’s Joey Essex is one of the main stars on this year’s hit list, with reports claiming he’ll be joining the show to launch his own career away from the ITV2 series.

“Joey plans to do one more series of TOWIE, which starts at the end of September, then leave the show,” a supposed source told The Sun newspaper. “ITV bosses want to make him a huge star and he knows now is the right time to go and do something different.”

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, producers for the ITV show are also after former Apprentice winner Stella English after her recent lawsuit with Lord Sugar, as well as Big Brother housemate and Irish model Hazel O’Sullivan.

“Hazel is going to be meeting with the producers of I’m A Celebrity over the next few days and they have made it clear an offer is on the table,” a source told the newspaper. “They are going to happily offer her as much money as is needed to make sure she signs up for the show, they won’t be quibbling over cash.

Former England player Michael Owen has confirmed he’s been offered the chance to appear and said he would be up for it – if the price is right.

“I’ve just been asked to do this year’s I’m A Celebrity. I got offered to do Strictly before but turned it down,” he told the Daily Star newspaper. “If I was ever going to do one it would be the jungle but I would need to be offered a few quid to do it, that’s for sure.”

US reality TV stars Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are also on a wish list of celebs, if only because they can’t afford Kim Kardashian.

However it could still see ITV shell out its biggest ever fee to get the sisters on board, with a source saying: “I’m A Celebrity… could be set to offer their biggest ever fee to secure the girls.

“In an ideal world they’d love to get Kim in the Aussie jungle but they know that would never happen.

Troubled footballer Paul Gascoigne has also said he would like to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle this year, having previously turned down offers.

“I would love the challenge,” he said. “I’ve had interviews in the last couple of years.”

More recently, Corrie actor Michael Le Vell has been linked to the show after he was cleared in a controversial sexual assault case.

“He would be rewarded with a six-figure fee which would help him out enormously,” a source told The Sun. “He’s also seen as a great candidate for the show and would be a tremendous asset to it. Those who know him see him as an easy-going lad, one of the boys, and with his love of Australia, he could jump at the chance of joining up.”

Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has also been tipped for the show. Lucy, who plays Chas Dingle in the ITV series, previously confessed she would be up for taking part in I’m A Celeb if she was given the chance.

“I could be a bit of a GI Jane. I’d want to be building and foraging and fishing,” she claimed.

The point I am making is about motivation to vote. Abz was well clear in the final Tv Polls and was easily more popular with the MEMs, but Charlotte was a comfortable winner because her fans were more motivated. The same principal could apply here, imo.

She still amazingly got to the final 3 despite this. It seems the general viewer is getting attuned to the tricks the producers plays. Perhaps eventually the GBP will be cynical enough to think the same as us on this forum and even later they'll be so cynical they'll think the same as the DigitalSpyers.

Just seen last night’s (saw Xtra Factor live) and Lucy wasn’t the total horror after all, mostly a good laugh in fact. But still a little bit too horrific for me. Even with Ant and Dec, after eviction, she had to say she didn’t want her daughter looking up to Amy. No magnanimity there. When female jealousy raises its head, as it always does, among the more feminist type it has to be rationalised eg they’re against the modelling industry. They can then think they’re being intellectual instead of just plain old jealous Grin

I continued backing Kian until recently so I hope no shock result or that would be another horror.
