What is a "£5750 - £230"?
|
By:
£230 @ 25/1 Henry, its racing parlance for what you win for what youve staked.
|
By:
That's what I thought JOT, I just couldn't believe she'd been 25/1 as I saw 4.6 was her max on here.
|
By:
She was 20/1 or over for a month and then double figures for a few weeks more.
|
By:
I didn't follow the middle rounds but I remember Hemsby saying it looked like they were clearing the way for Leah ie getting rid of good (but presumably uncommercial) singers.
|
By:
Yes she went 25/1 on an incorrect lot of spoilers, then back to 16/1 when it became aparent she was through. Her price journey has been an interesting one really someone has backed her to win a good few quid. Probably the Ukranian EBU representative has ditched Zlota for Leah
|
By:
Also on at 25/1 and can't believe her current price. Not laying off though. Expect she'll be even shorter after the weekend... Just ridiculous.
|

Mr Aces,
On behalf of anyone who might be happy to back her at higher prices, may I thank you for such a philanthropic act. Most unusual for someone to come on here and tell us that we can have whatever price we like come Friday. How high will you be prepared to go? |
By:
He has said he will lay her at the price she is, don't think he's going to donate money to us, but if he is, I'm interested!
|
By:
Me too, at the right price. I'm sure we all are! To join in with the spirit of altruism, I'll declare that I will take evens.

1.98

By:
Ok, so let`s all agree to take 1.98, and stop outbidding each other. There are only three lumps waiting to back her, probably belonging to regulars. I ask those people to take those bets down tomorrow, and we can all have some 1.98.
|
By:
Thank you to whichever of you it was that removed one of the chunks. So we`re still looking for the owners of the remaining two...
|
By:
Evening all, I've laid s big chunk of the 1.4, nought up at the moment, happy to join at 1.98

Weez this clownshoe?
|
By:
I won't be laying her at 1.62...... I've laid 700@1.43. Leah was 25/1 with PP (managed to get £210 on in various ways) and 25/1 with Sk**et got on a score. Tried to get on with SJ@251 but would only lay me £2 ! Ladbrokes were always shortest. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Leah would get this short and the only reason I backed her and Joseph was because my nephew went to see his mate(who should have made the live shows ,Moni Tivony)and told me those two were different gravy.

By:
Yes welcome back George you filthy mackem lurker
![]() Mr Pocket you said a while back that you got on lots of bets on Leah with the same cashier in half an hour. Well done btw, you've obviously played this well, but how did you manage that? Was she retarded in some way? |
By:
Yep...welcome back GB2 (I take it your demotion was made aware to you last night?)
![]() |
By:
...and next time you are thinking of having a break, could we please have an attention seeking "Dear Forum" post please.
|
By:
I gamble for a living and can spot a divvy cashier a mile off. £200 @25/1,inside half an hour in the same shop was a miracle. But was surpassed by £700 @ 100/30 Schalke 04 to beat Arsenal at the Emirates last season in the Hills in Stanmore (where I've been restricted a million times)when you could lay 3.35 on here for 1000's,without being PTL'D and when there was a message on the screen that the maximum bet was £20 (They won 2-0 and I managed to get £2700 on that day in all !)
|
By:
You got £2.7k on Schalke at the high street shops, that must have taken a lot of time and a lot of cash on ya!
