i have this feeling that norway will get first half and then will be first to perform and denmark last to perform, i certainly hope not

Norway is not the right kind of song to close.  If they close with that or Denmark, there really will be screams of fix lol.

well its down to the producers to sort out the running order, I did read somewhere that the producers who decide the running order will NOT know the results or the outcome positions of the semi-finals which is good i think

The Producers in conjunction with the EBU so SVT will not get everything their own way.

Good point from Keith on twitter. Sweden are 16 so they will almost certainly want a gap to Ireland, which means a late draw for the Irish

Yep I would think 20th at least for Dolan.  They will probably keep Malta away from them too, so could easily see one of them 20ish and the other 24ish.

yes is all down to the draw 100% was in to 12's before the draw

well keen leader posted the top 3 in order of the irish jury and they said it came from their other half who was a member of the irish jury. Whether its true or not.

He seemed to still think the system was the same as previous years, so I also think not.  He did seem to have a grasp of some key facts though like Ireland's televoters historical support for Lithuania.

I think late draws for Azer, Georgia and Malta will be pleasing to many.  Norway to some.

Ireland is ok.
I still don't believe women will vote for the likes of Denmark ot Ukraine when they see their other halves drooling over them

The Georgian female is not as attractive which could be a plus, and there's a guy who is easy on the eye too.

Denmark hmm vocally a little weak for me tonight and the interaction worked poorly on camera also. No euphoria for sure

Italy has more to worry me, than excite me, but I have it 6th in my predictions now.

The likes of Ruslana and Helena Paparizou were attractive though.

Will be interesting to see if any of the songs from tonight go back into iTunes top 10's
I'm not sure if they are all released Europe wide yet, but so far Birds the only one charting. #5 in Netherlands again

Most of them are on Itunes, but not all of them are available in every country and some are album only at the moment - this will change later this week.  I will try and keep an eye on what I can, got a few contacts.

The semi does not get too many viewers though, expect them to peak on Sunday/Monday.

What is interesting is Cascada is there without even performing, but you may expect her song to do better on Itunes anyway.  Her song has been bubbling under the top 1000 for weeks now just on the back of the limited bits and pieces of ESC-related media.

Kalomira was 2nd or 3rd.  I forget which as it was very close.

UK used to regularly give 12 to winners - Charlotte Nilsson, Lordi, Helena etc. but this seems to have changed in recent years.  I think we gave Lena a few, but we gave "Molitva" and "Believe" 0 IIRC.  I don't think Loreen got to many more points, but it was the highest charting ESC hit since Katrina & The Waves.

The UK voters were dazzled by Hadise, attractive girl, lots of turks in UK, and ALW bigged her up on the show.

The sickly ALW ballad did not deserve to be as high as 5th.

I wasn't keen on Rybak when he sang the chorus he sounded as though he was screeching and that put me off

Both Hadise and Yohanna could have come closer with a reversal of the draw, but it would still have been Rybak's.
