Question is, in the final will this be replicated as a % of the first time additional voters? Probably not.

True enough. Anything is possible from here. But his price is still short enough for an act already in B2 against two that haven't fallen into the drop zone.
I'd have him as a lively outsider of three, but it all depends on the first time voters of course.
Reason I ask is, on past performances if Chris was top then he still will be now imo, but I don't know if that makes his price value or not.
I think it'll be a pretty straight contest (excluding dodgy song choices etc.!), but I reckon first time voters will outnumber any new Chris supporters 2 to 1. But are they more likely to back Jahmene or James? Could end up being a fairly even split.

My guess is that Chris was leading up until week 8, due to no sing-off this week... They obviously had not toppled him off his perch.
If, as the votes started to ramp up in the semi, he's fallen off top spot this week, then I agree there's no way back.
What we need now is another timely leak of course... But I doubt we're going to get it somehow!

Not a fan of x-factor on account of having one dysfunctional sense but how does the final work in term of betting? When someone is evicted for 3rd place will the betting continue till the winner is announced or remain suspended?
If betting isn't suspended then Maloney would be 2.5 ish. I would rather green up at that point and not the present 5 ish odds on offer.
Which sense is dysfunctional may I ask?

The sense that makes music irrelevant to me.
Whilst I love music I don't think I have as much idea of what the public will like as most on here. Knowing song choices beforehand is not much use to me. They corrupt the songs anyway so it can deceive even the most knowledgeable.
