Little Mix were not B2 last year Lend...  No winners (to date) have finished B2 and the last three all topped the vote in the semi.

G4, JLS and Olly have performed the best of the acts to have been in B2 - all three finished runners-up.

ok Lou, I stand corrected...It's me talking nonsense. They were 6th in week 3 which isn't so bad.

After rattling my mind I had to find out who was in the bottom 2 last year in reality TV yet still went on to win. It was in fact Dougie from IACGMOOH on day 19.
Report George Bailey December 6, 2012 9:47 PM GMT
Jahmene 3x less disliked as a first choice than James. May reflect a more general appeal. There was an interesting % on one of the ones not pasted above that showed UJ more popular than James iirc.  Would need to see the full poll to remind myself.

HG starting to be a bit all over the place as well. Definitely a very hard one to call.  Performances will be all important.  Whichever "camp" on here is right seems to me that there is no room for gloating/boasting.  None of us would bet the mortgage on this one I suspect.

Im only staying loyal to Maloney because I wont lay off at a price thats bigger than i think he should be

It wouldnt suprise me if any of the 3 won, i just think the 2 j's are shorter than they should be and i can find as

many reasons for their defeats as i can Chris.

Thankfully i can sleep easy knowing RMb is green on the winner and will be the first to post how much were all mugs Plain

James rumoured to be singing 'Don't Speak' again as his favourite song of the series?  Oh dear, GB, oh dear, oh dear...

The only positive song choice rumour I've read so far is Chris doing 'Rule The World' for his duet with Gary.  That could be a belter.
Report George Bailey December 7, 2012 8:40 AM GMT
I think those who are assuming that James is the TCO and in line for a major ramp and Jahmene a deramp may be in for a surprise final nights.  Jahmene looking like the TCO to me. Suspect Cowell would prefer that order.

Re HG GB I see what you are saying ( a glass of wine too many last night). Don't agree but will update later. But I suspect normal service will be resumed.

The best moment of this series for me was yesterday when calling out the names the cheers for James were about 200% louder than Jehmene.

Seems I've been against the grain (except a few) all series on this one. Well done to others who stuck to their guns.

Well done GB, I didn't think he would have the broad appeal to win but the yougov showed different. His popularity seemed to increase after Ella went, I suspect he inherited many of her fans that hadn't bothered voting for her before she left given that they were the two apparent "credible" artists.

As expected they did a first class ramping job to make sure they got him over line.

A quick postscript to say thanks to GB for some excellent banter and threads this series.

But most of all for remaining doggedly determined and steadfast in his support for James (second time round!) despite a lot of vocal opposition in the last week.

Hats off to GB and FLL - they both read the situation spot on, in terms of what happened after the 'shock' B2 sing-off between Ella and James.  Everything panned out as they predicted, the mega-bounce, the falling percentage for Maloney, the fact that Jahmene was a spent force and couldn't challenge - and of course the machinations in the final.

Anyone would think they've been watching this for far long! Laugh

Seriously, though, I think they've probably saved several forumites a few quid in the last week so they deserve the plaudits.  The sheer weight of evidence was overwhelming by Saturday morning with all of the polls, let alone during Saturday's live show, so hopefully most managed to trade a decent position in the end.

It's been a fun ride once again!  Cheers everyone.  Have a great Christmas.
Report GeorgeBrush December 10, 2012 10:14 AM GMT
Cheers dizzy. The inspiration kind of came from my own feelings. When he whipped ella's ass in that sing off I wanted to vote for him and really wanted him to win. I kinda knew loads of others would be thinking the same

Of course lets get it on sealed the deal, he'd probably won as early as that, within 6 days from being b2 to a certain winner
Report Henry VIII December 10, 2012 10:17 AM GMT
