Well lads,we've made to the end again
I genuinely thought BB/CBB was all over when it left C4 but
i'm so pleased i was wrong:
This has been a magnificent series with even the non-celebs
providing lots of spark as well.

Enyoyed the banter as always..and if there was a vote for poster of the series, then that infuriating loose woman layer
would be 1.01...but his enthusiasm/info/updates/ramps will definitely go into the specials Hall of Fame

thanks Arm Love

Anyway let the madness/freezes/shocks commence

Good luck all

I don't see it as a clear win for wiggans at all, the vt's the bbc come up with could swing it a few ways

more housekeeping

The final of Celebrity Big Brother 2012 was watched by an average audience of just 2.1 million viewers last night.

The two hour long marathon show was seen by just over two million viewers on Channel 5 between 9PM and 11PM, while around 100,000 more watched on Channel 5+1.

The show peaked with close to 3 million viewers as the final result was announced, and comic Julian Clary left the house as champion.

It’s a disappointing end to what has been a great series, with the final figures down on some of the earlier eviction shows this year.

The finale rating is also around a million viewers down on the numbers that watched Denise Welch in the show back in January of this year.

Overall the tenth series of Celebrity Big Brother was watched by an average audience of around 2.3 million viewers, a respectable number given plenty of tough competition, from The X Factor to both the Olympics and Paralympics.

Channel 5 has renewed it’s contract for the show with makers Endemol through to 2014, meaning Big Brother is here to stay for now.
Report Cider September 8, 2012 2:55 PM BST
Once a brand has peaked and is on a downward trend looks like there is nothing that can be done to recover it. This has been a really good series with some legendary  housemates but hardly anyone cares any more. When I told friends I was missing cbb final to be out with them last night they looked at me sideways. xf going in the same direction.

Report five leaves left September 8, 2012 5:05 PM BST
I'm quite surprised the ratings weren't better.
I know 3 people who used to be fans, hadn't watched for a few years, but started watching after I'd told them what a good series it was.
Report GeorgeBrush September 8, 2012 8:27 PM BST

Sad ratings like. Deserved better
Report stu September 9, 2012 1:25 AM BST
To be fair, for channel 5 figures over 2 million are earth shattering in comparison to most of the stuff they stick on.

Secondly, as noted, there's been massive competition against this specific series.
Report stroodle September 9, 2012 6:45 PM BST
Just back from holiday lads, was reading the earlier posts on here tonight. Looks like the order they came out was predicted by many, glad we had a worthy winner for a change. Have we came across any potential x factor winners yet? or do they keep the cream to the final shows. Missed most shows so far until watching repeat of saturdays show today, pretty average show with nothing looking good enough to do any damage on show.

Y have been distinctly uninspired by this year`s XF candidates. Normally by now, I would have seen two or three I liked. I did like the very first one we saw, Jehemain, but he was instantly dismissed by the  regulars.

Started watching the first two in the betting Jahmene good singer but cant see him winning for some reason,Ella Henderson looks a better prospect 16 years old and writes her own stuff, cant be **** going through them all. Probably just wait till judges house before I have a flutter, unless someone can did out the confirmed ones to look over.

Stroodle, we can`t have those naughty bookmaker chaps learning what some of us (think we?) know, on an open forum. Certainly not on one specific thread. Make the feckers work! Most of us are trying to take their money, after all. It will all be on here, DS, FB etc. anyway, but requiring a little more delving than the compilers seem capable of.
