A certain Irish betting site is running a market on top toy
(based on an Irish toy shops figures granted)
I work part time in a famous toy shop - don't mock its a part time job only!
GOGO HAMSTERS/GO GO PETS - (OR ZHU ZHU PETS in the U.S)
is a toy I have been asked for several hundred times in the last few weeks. There has not been nearly so much interest in any of the other toys listed and I would be extremely surprised if the other threats in the market sell anywhere as much. No retailer where I am has any at all and they are fetching a premium online.
Of course you could argue that just because they are sold out doesn't mean they have sold millions but the sheer volume of orders and requests suggests they are the one to be on. It was a much bigger price earlier B-) when I snatched the value and the toy is now 11/10 favourite - rightly. The bookmaker only let me get 2figures worth however this is the slight downside.

there was a slight saftey scare but that doesn't seem to have cooled demand at all

Missed this one, but the same Irish site had No. 1 selling dvd for Xmas market also. Got on Harry Potter at 5/6. Money in the bank...
