I love it, just love it.

If Jenson backers were relying on that interview to give their man a big push they must be very disappointed. Nothing about that struck me as a vote winner and I'm not sure SPOTY was mentioned at all.

He makes Ricky Whittle look interesting.

Seriously floc, JB is clearly a strong contender, and if Giggs' Man U/Wales doesn't materialise then I expect him to win. There's plenty of reasons why JB might win, but that interview wasn't one of them.

have to agree with bunnyman. Regardless of book position I thought Button came across poorly in that interview. Extremely bland, and definitely conceited. No mention of SPOTY, and admitting it's all about the car also did him no favours.

For the BBC to air an interview with just ONE of the SPOTY finalists just 45 hours before the Award show clearly revealed the BBC's F1 bias.

To mention SPOTY in the interview would have just confirmed this bias

I thought Button came across as a chilled-out-entertainer & this will be fresh in the minds of the 5 million Jonathan Ross viewers when they vote tomorrow
