Definition of who is eligible
Voted for by the public live during the TV show, this prestigious award will be given to the sportsman or woman whose actions have most captured the public's imagination in 2008. Non-playing coaches or management are not eligible.
Why is Sir Alex Ferguson in the list?
All bets void, couldn't win?
Thanks to this post and the original post of GeorgeBrush I phoned Betfair today and after a few phone calls they have refunded my £74 that I bet on Sir Alex Ferguson. If I want to know something I turn to the forums first!! Thanks again, especially Baggers as I would not have known he was not eligible and as Baggers said a bet has to be able to win.
