Think Darcey is over here on a jolly/plugging something and BBC thought it would up the profile of the show to have a serious dancer, albeit a ballet dancer who knows nothing about ballroom and latin, on the show.

imo - Alesha is not a natural judge - but thrown in the deep end by the bbc. They are just desperate to match xf.

if you want a dance show about dancing prowess go back to Come Dancing on a Monday or Tues night about 11 pm.

Yes it's very good squares. Quite long tho iirc.

but its a difficult balance fll. ok so u need a few duffers for the entertainment value but if u keep having the duffers knocking out the decent dancers the show loses all credibility and there would be a lot of people (i.e. pro dancers etc) who would start getting p1ssed off. and whats the point in working yr arrse off in training if some lovable duffer (eg js) keeps getting through??

I've managed to win over 600 on Ali, top female (subtracting cover on Laila, Jade etc). Also have her on outright at 12s. Her and Chris my biggest 2 winners, so looking good. How's your book looking?

Not totally up to date as have so many markets and accounts but think Chris winning about 6-7K OR and another couple of K Top Man, Ali winning a couple of K and Ricky losing a couple of K. Also have Chris in a double with Joe , 205/1, to win just over 5K.

I backed against Ali for TW, Nat, Laila, Jade and Zoe. All good prices at the time imo, easy to forget Ali survived by a very small margin weeks ago.

but I've backed Chris some more tonight and laid Ricky some more so will take a while to tally it all up.

Think Ali was my only loser in TW market.

Are you happy to lay Whittle now for huge amounts? My one concern would be, if say Ali loses in dance off against Ricky next week, the vast gulf in class, and pleas of judges could turn it round for Ricky in final vs Chris. And if he's vs Ali, while I'd expect Ali to maintain her pv advantage, I wouldn't be totally confident.

I found it really difficult with horses once I lost virtually all my accounts. Specials not quite so hard in that situation.

Did you play the percentages ?
I'll probably still play the flat as I'm quite good at picking out a good one, but I don't really lose at specials, so will concentrate on that.

I worked on course for a lot of years and also did ew multis. Had a couple of exceptional years 2005/6 which phecked my accounts and drifted away from it since then.

I've had my accounts restricted/closed too squares - courtesy of Specials bets.

Mine were initially through horses altho some on here might not believe that !!
