Italian, good-looking etc but his criminal past will alienate a fair few of the hardcore, he seems overly arrogant and misogynistic...if this was a 5 day comp then he's a shoo-in, as people get to know him theyll grow to hate him, imvho.

Agree, he's a very poor jollie. But the market seems to adore him for some reason.
Report Mealiff November 20, 2009 5:14 PM GMT
Mainly due to his boring side kicks in the place .

He's about the only one who appeals to the viewer besides following the melons

a weak fav imo - Lucy, George and Colin are more endearing and their odds are far bigger. Would rather take a punt on any of these 3 rather than take 4-1 Gino.

do the viewers know about his criminal past?

% wise you can take those three + sabrina for the same price as the favourite
Report Mealiff November 20, 2009 5:40 PM GMT
Then if he is so bad why don't you fill your boots laying him

========

no point laying him when as the poster above says, enhanced value on other horses

currently the market reckons about 20% chance of KP winning, obviously it should be closer to 35%, etc.
Report layz November 20, 2009 6:22 PM GMT
actually I wasn't suggesting that, I was just saying if you believe there is more value in the three jonnyrant mentioned you could back them all + sabrina for the same %.

Personally I think Gino will drift tonight and yes I do think Jordan will go favourite tonight now, because it is looking like Gino and Sam, and Lucy, who are all fairly short for winner, could all be up against each other (although George would be the likelier departee I presume)
