brits hate confrontational types, love drama queens, hate boring celebs, love dippy birds and cheeky fellas oh and hate yanks,

confrontational types rule out kim, sam, justin and jordan
boring rules out camilla, stuart and sabrina,
gino prob wins the drama queen cat and a bit of the cheeky one too,
no real dippy types (unless agreeing to come on this show counts) spose u could throw in sam and jordan,
Jordan is getting paid buckets and will be protected to get moneys worth -wouldnt surprise me if she earned an immunity card at a vital stage- however she wont win, excellent bet to be 'queen of jungle'

could go on but

to sum up to me its a done deal
1st gino, 2nd jimmy, 3rd george 4th jordan

boring rules out camilla

See my thread. ;)
Report ajchrisbro November 16, 2009 11:33 AM GMT
seen it, but getting interviewed is not the same, she (like hira) doesnt have the personality to compete with the stronger ones thus that wont allow her to participate in opinionated conversations,
any contribution from her will be petty,
Report Mealiff November 16, 2009 11:39 AM GMT
it's between Lucy ,Gino & Sam .

imho

I agree aj.
It's not a show for shrinking violets and camilla could easily turn into one in this group.

I guess her following from SCD might get her through a vote ot two, but she needs a decent BTT to survive longer and why would people vote for her to do one.

As for you other points, the confrontational one is interesting. they have tended to come up short, so that would be a worry over someone like Kim.
I still think she's a big runner, but prefer her sidekick, George.
Much more laid back, but he's big character, will come out with some quotable lines and has a storyline already His relationship with Kim.
Gino looks like he could potentially be a moody little sod.
There's just something I don't like about him. I'm laying at the price.

And if people think Jimmy is going to be a cheeky chappie in the mould of Tuffers or Joe Swash then they could be very disappointed.
Report stu November 16, 2009 11:51 AM GMT
I'm not so sure she's entirely a shrinking violet, though I see that danger of course.
Report stu November 16, 2009 11:52 AM GMT
Camilla that is.
Report five leaves left November 16, 2009 11:54 AM GMT
Maybe not stu.
I do think she's a decent sort and at the price she could worth a nibble in the hope that she's a slow burner.
Report ajchrisbro November 16, 2009 12:01 PM GMT
I hear u figgy, but IMO Gino has a bit of SCD Bruno going on, and being a chef Im sure the others will want him in as long as thus he will get a warm reception.

as always (similar to BB) u have to be wary of edits, something which will be demanded by ITV in order to keep jordan in,
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:01 PM GMT
If Camilla gets a trial she looks to me like she'd wimp out. She's just too soft for a test like this, at least at this stage. And she can't wait to get back to the 5* hotel.

Just goes to show how poor the field is that Gino is 2nd jolly. Showed up on a trial already, by a girl. I can't have him.
Report attitude adjuster November 16, 2009 12:02 PM GMT
fll,i think there's an air of desparation to take an early view on here

the first show basically shows them going into the camp.

camp life has not started,so we're simply applying the "old reality rulebook".

liquidity's very poor,so prices bounce about with little real meaning.

the show clearly needs jordan though..even at this early stage.
Report ajchrisbro November 16, 2009 12:03 PM GMT
Cider, swash was a bit 'girly' when it came to BTT, and how was
getting all his stars being shown up?
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:05 PM GMT
Sam just got on with it, he moaned before, during and after. Looked a right pussy to me.
Report ajchrisbro November 16, 2009 12:06 PM GMT
AA not desperation more like resignation, in OP I suggested some pointers that go in to the formula which results in the winner of IACGMOH.

I see no reason to suggest that formula will change and I have resigned myself to this

...and Mealiff, lucy is a prime candidate for first 'walker' if such a market existed!
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:13 PM GMT
It does. She's 12-1 with p p. Her having a child I thought she was the likliest walker too.
Report attitude adjuster November 16, 2009 12:15 PM GMT
sorry aj,poor choice of words

think reality fatigue is kicking in :)
Report ajchrisbro November 16, 2009 12:15 PM GMT
worth a few quid, there u go an official AJ tip, pays more than the winner to boot even better, Im in
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:19 PM GMT
Only 6-1 now.
Report five leaves left November 16, 2009 12:23 PM GMT
aj moves markets!
Report johnnyrant November 16, 2009 12:26 PM GMT
I can't see Woodburn winning. Not with a face like that, and a demeanour like hers. I think Jimmy could be extremely dull. It does look like Camilla will be one of those that fades into the background. Gino seems a decent bloke but may prove too volatile. Most solid 2 for me as of now are George and Lucy. Sam has started well and could be a runner - concern with her will be the likely clash with Katie Price and whether or not it works in her favour.

As specials regs would you say yesterday's was the first btt?
sj have left the bet open.
I can't see why it shouldn't be.

I'm A Celebrity Specials : Will The First Bushtucker Trial Produce The Maximum Number Of Meals?
Report five leaves left November 16, 2009 12:29 PM GMT
The 1st bushtracker trial for betting purposes is usually the one voted for by the public.
So Kim tonight.
Report five leaves left November 16, 2009 12:30 PM GMT
I hope you've backed no, if that's the market, cider
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:32 PM GMT
I'm on No. They priced it up 5/6 yes, 5/6 no.
Report five leaves left November 16, 2009 12:34 PM GMT
Blimey!

SJ make some shocking ricks.
They need to sack their specials odds compiler and employ someone from here.
I believe a regular on here did once have that job. They certainly wouldn't have made such a blunder.
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:35 PM GMT
I posted it up on one of the early threads.

Was backed into 1/3.
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:38 PM GMT
Well, I tried to be subtle about it to give people a chance to get on!

Kim is a concern, hopefully her fear of water will prevent a full house.

I did think yesterday's would be the first, as it was a proper trial for meals.
Report chepster November 16, 2009 12:42 PM GMT
Whats going on with Sabrina????
Report chepster November 16, 2009 12:47 PM GMT
I wonder if she has walked.

Makes PPs 4/1 (First Walker) all the more attractive.

Kim at 9/4 is the funniest price I have seen in ages.

No price on 'No Walker' either which may prove a bonus ;)
Report attitude adjuster November 16, 2009 12:49 PM GMT
chep less of the capitals..just for a moment i thought the Italian Goddess was going in :0
Report chepster November 16, 2009 12:51 PM GMT
lol. Any ideas AA. Her price just drifts and drifts and drifts . . . .
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:53 PM GMT
What's her correct price, 100-1 ? I wouldn't take that.
She's a walking specials negative.
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:55 PM GMT
16-1 Jordan, now that's quite tempting...
Report chepster November 16, 2009 12:56 PM GMT
Probably contractually obliged notto walk Cider.

Sabrina otoh, she has gone for the Versace hotel.
Report Cider November 16, 2009 12:59 PM GMT
Sorry I phrased that badly, I don't think that Sabrina will walk. Just that she has so many negatives I'm not surprised that there's no money for her. She isn't even polite. I thought 4-1 first elimination was quite a good price.
Report ajchrisbro November 18, 2009 9:58 AM GMT
any contribution from her will be petty,
