1-0 Baz over Marco, MJW over Selt, Pang over Hugill, and Croup steals on the black from Wrongholed.
The balls restore the balance, Croup unluckily goes in off after potting a decent red, 2-1 Croup.
Marco back to 3-2 down, Ronnie needing snookers or 4-1 Croup, 2-1 Hugill
Nice result that, low 1.3x lay on Ronnie when frame and 20 behind.
Croup lets on that he had a knee injury pre-season and needs injections in it in order to be able to practice for longer than 90 mins at a time.

Superb cutback pot on the black off the final red (the only way he could win the frame without needing snookers) from Hugill, who steals and wins 4-2. Another good performance from him.
2-0 Astley over Speccy. Not seen any of that, but Speccy has been coughing his guts up all week.

LTT needs snookers or it's 4-2 Shon, Speccy needs snookers or it's 4-0 Astley (not seen any of the earlier stuff, but Speccy has been utterly awful from 2-0 down).
Great chance to steal for Scotty D, lands the wrong side of the blue, leaves the pink awkward, misses it, fortunately doesn't stick it

100%, Stu. Quite interesting listening to Judd on the different mental state the way he plays puts you in, though.

I had backed Selby pre match, without trading at all - turned it off. Turned it back on to see Selby going over the winning line!

I could have sworn I could remember a match where Luca went charging off v Judd where he ended up losing, but I appear to have imagined it....
Hopefully he finds a way to make it a match otherwise it will have been a total waste of the evening, as the occasion appears to have got to Hugill rather.

5 of the last 6 frames for Selby, very good, but it does look like it's harder to miss.
Selby's scored 15x 50+ breaks in 45 frames this week, converting 6 to BTs.
Luca has scored 18x 50+ breaks in 38 frames, converting 3 to BTs.
Over the course of the season, Luca is scoring very slightly the better.
Selby has beaten Robbo, Shon, Ali, Wu, JOC and Noppy to Luca's Joyce, Lines Jr, Scotty D, Jamie J, Judd & Tubbs.
The H2H favours Selby 4-2, 23-17 in frames.
Discounting the CL and Shoot Out, Luca has won 2 ranking event finals from 4 contested. Selby is 20/29.

This could be 9-not very many if Luca is going to try to go toe-to-toe with Selby's safety game here. Got to find a way to get in in frames, which I concede puts tremendous pressure on his long-potting (which could also lead to a 9-not very many scoreline)
Another Selby howler, Luca 4-3 down without managing a 50 break all match.
One of the most remarkable turnarounds I've seen in ages, and most of it is down to how bad Selby's been from 3-0.

Much better start than Selby finished. Luca a bit unlucky in the first frame of the evening, but Selby leads 6-4.
Frame 11 and Luca finally gets his first 50 of the day, and he doesn't stop there. Makes a BT, 122, highest break of the final by either man so far.
Couple of really good chances wasted by Luca, and while benefiting from some amazing run of the ball, too. 7-5 Selby mid-sesh.
Fails to take advantage of another fluke and then a later chance. 8-5 Selby. 4 on the spin required.
