Well, that was shocking stuff today, think all the jollies ended up winning! Dented my confidence a bit for tonight so proceeding with caution! Captain is short enough given his display the other day and I'm tempted to pull trigger on that one, but cahill not one i really like punting. Hope i dont regret letting it go. Yuan could be a few ticks higher but if he gives his running, definitely a chance he could catch selby cold. A chance on that will do for me tonight. Certain kiss of death way my bets are going

I'd give a squeak to all of the TV table jollies tonight.  Pinhey's the one I'm most interested in seeing.  He battered Selt in the Q round of this (and scored well), and he could be well over-priced, if that wasn't just some freakish result (he's never shown anything like that before, TBF).  With you on Cahill, though.  Promises so much, delivers so little!

I'm sure you can probably guess what I'm going to say this morning for one match, at least, mate! 

So Dylan Emery is still to deliver against a big name, but he is without doubt one of the best young prospects out there, and he scores REALLY well.  Of course, it's highly likely that Big Boy will have a bit too much game for the young man, but he can blow hot and cold, too, and if he does, Emery has the ability to punish.  At near double figures, he's worthy of a play.

If Judge coughs up the chances he did yesterday v Fan (as he usually does), Dan Wells really should beat him.

I did like the progression in Oli Lines' game last season, but I've not been impressed at the start of this.  Higginson, however, has looked really good since losing his card.  He is a player I seldom get right, however, but I think he's too big here.

I rate Zhang Anda pretty highly, and there's not as much between his and Shon's respective numbers for there to be quite such a gap in their prices, IMHO.

Haven't played at all this morning but did consider the lay of Yan for a bit, wouldn't surprise me to see it go close and kid definitely not looking overawed so far this morning. Gl with it! Did think about Zhang too but just a few ticks below where i wanted him to be. Hope to see judge win but a coin flip and ollie odds on not of that much appeal tbh.

See a bit od hype for Yuan about the place today, not lost in 8 matches tjis season, beat ronnie and hawkins in CL, but while hard to knock a 5-2 win over 4 times world champ, it was hardly knock out stuff was it? Thought he made a bit of a meal of it overall tbh.

Big let off from Emery there.  Really strong position in frame #2 and took on a terribly risky blue and missed it.  Great clearance from Big Boy, TBF, who had looked all at see up to that point.  1-1.

Yeah, i hate to hammer a kid for being positive but there's a limit to it. That was a 5/10 at the very best, even a 4, no percentage in it whatsoever.

Couple of bad runs there but again, that attempt to nudge up behind green off the snooker just way over ambitious. Trying to be clever by half there.

Clear signs of frustration from BB there, you wouldn't normallu expect that! This coukd go either way now. Impressive performance whatever happens.

Ended up more involved with the Farakh match and didn't see how Big Boy got in there, but Dylan looked like he was shaking his head slightly in his chair? 

Decent effort anyway.  It WILL come.

Turned away for about 30 seconds and missed that too mate! Shame for him but very encouraging overall. Some very iffy shot choices but expect that with these guys nowadays and liked the way he scrapped against one of the chief scrappers.

Excellent shot from Farakh to pot matchball green there after leaving himself full-ball snookered on it. 

It might only be Barry Pinches, but that's by far the best I've seen him play.  Almost looks to have a half-decent tactical brain, even if he runs out of position from time-to-time.  5-2.

So my afternoon thoughts are generally not quite as strong as my morning ones.

Think it's almost impossible to oppose Baz, but you won't get rich backing him. 

Page still remains an enigma for me.  Takes everything on, if they go in, great, if not, he just looked like a complete mug.  For all Selby was dire last night, Yuan does at least have a bit about him.  His numbers for the season are the best of his career, and they're a long way ahead of Page's this term, and quite a bit ahead of his best.  In all likelihood, unless Page has one of those days where he can't miss, Yuan *should* win. 

Partly based on Milkins' abysmal showing on Sunday, and partly because I do genuinely think Jak Jones is a completely different proposition these days, I think you have to make Jones fav today.

Lyu is one of those who I think should deliver more than he does against the big names.  On the face of it, he's a bigger price than he should be, but he just doesn't get it done often enough.

Xiao's a few ticks bigger than I was expecting this morning.

Ricky's scoring is well down on usual so far this season, though Big Boy wasn't hugely impressive yesterday.  Ricky does boss the H2H 4-1, though many of those are quite a while ago, it does include this year's Welsh Open. 

I was impressed with Farakh's all-round game yesterday, but his scoring's still not up to much.  Marco did lots right in his defeat at the hands of Cao on Saturday, apart from getting over the line when chances presented themselves!  He's likely to get more opportunities today and should have too much scoring power for Ajaib, but whether you'd want to risk the 1/6 about him doing so?!

Ali and Butch are very, very evenly matched over their careers in terms of numbers.  The H2H is 10-9 in favour of Butch, but Ali's only won 1 of their last 8 meetings, and that was in the BO3 WST!
