I backed Jimmy White to beat Peter Lines today just as the match started £70 at 2.08 Jimmy got off to a flyer to go 2-0 up as the 3rd frame started the match was suspended When the market started up again my £70 bet had disappeared I have contacted betfair via chat and just received the following e mail statement
"We thank you for your patience whilst allowing us to investigate your query. Our trading team confirm that the void was because the Tournament organizer changed the order of the games"wtf is that about how can you cancel a bet that has been matched Just wondering has anyone come across this before

I presume that it was because the match was not turned "in-play" when it started.
When this has happened previously it has resulted in void bets as people have hoovered up un-monitored bets that have been left in the markets.
I have learned my lesson from previous occasions and avoid matches that have not been put in-play.

Corect Gin. Avoid matches that haven't been turned inplay like the plague
