Why is Figueredo allowed in if he's only 43?  I thought it was Over 50's?

Thanks

World Seniors Snooker (WSS) was established by the WPBSA in June 2018 to provide opportunities for players over 40 to be able to extend their snooker careers beyond the professional World Snooker Tour.

From the former greats of the professional sport including world champions who have still got the desire to play competitively, to talented amateurs who still crave the opportunity to live their snooker dreams, the WSS Tour provides opportunities for senior players around the world.

Since 2020, tournaments have for the first time also been open to current professional players ranked outside of the world’s top 64, providing a direct link to the World Snooker Tour.

With any luck Dennis will hang up his microphone as well today

Taylor will continue to play in exhibitions and be an ambassador for the sport with his various broadcasting rolesCry

Thanks Angoose

Seems a bit low to put the 'Seniors' bracket at over 40.  That mean in theory Ronnie, Higgins, Williams could all play and even Selby and Robertson only two years out.

Should be Over 50 IMO.

Oh just seen 'Ranked outside the Top 64' fair enough.

Still a low age limit though.  "Seniors"?

Ahh FFS. I thought after Judd's rant about snooker moving on etc it was a good chance for the BBC to give Dennis the dunt from commentary, and when they brought in Lisowski, Trump and Joe Perry for the worlds I thought that was they way they were going.

I'll have to continue to mute when he is on Sad
