He can have periods of going missing mentally, which is understandable as his game is entirely centred around being mentally granite for long periods |

Something thoroughly dislikeable about Selby. I think someone mentioned Djokovic earlier on. The celebration was a bit Djokovicesque although thankfully the shirt didn't come off and he didn't start beating his chest.
If only Murphy had played a safety on that last red. It was a do or die shot on a very difficult ball. Fair enough go for a difficult pot if you knew there was a chance you are not going to stick it up if you missed. Once he got a couple of frames behind I think he tried too hard to match Selby in the tactical battles. Very hard to run off a succession of those type of frames against an opponent like Selby. |

I can remember him playing like that in 2005 and since then he's tried to be a bit more reined in which doesn't suit him
