Masters snooker moved from Alexandra Palace to Milton Keynes

Next week's Masters snooker has been moved from Alexandra Palace to Milton Keynes to follow Covid-19 regulations.
The tournament, which begins on Sunday, has been staged at the London venue since 2011.
It will now be held in a 'bubble' environment, behind closed doors, at Arena MK in Milton Keynes.
"Our highest priority is always health and safety, and that is the basis of this decision," said World Snooker boss Barry Hearn.
"We staged several events in a strict bubble environment in Milton Keynes last summer and we were delighted that these were run successfully.
"I trust the 16 players to accept this decision, follow the rules carefully and enjoy one of our greatest tournaments."
The event is the sport's biggest invitational tournament with defending champion Stuart Bingham, Judd Trump, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Neil Robertson, John Higgins and Mark Selby among those taking part.
All players will be tested the day before their first match, and will remain within the bubble as long as they are participating in the tournament, which will be shown live on the BBC.
All officials and staff will also be within the bubble, following strict regulations on isolation, hygiene and social distancing.

Yeah, very strange indeed. But it shot it's load on Ronnie too, 2.1x in the quarters
Market was correct if John kept that form he would win easily, wonders pointed out the perils in it tho and he was likely to regress! Good call in a way but I wouldnt be giving it large when JB traded 1.15 to win the event them evens backers had plenty a chance to get out

Yan's mentality stronger than Higgins and that was probably the biggest difference. Afterwards Higgins was reeling off how he should have gone three frames up on more than one occasion. He didn't and I suspect he didn't get over that disappointment which probably grated away away at him.
Higgins can't play any better than he did against Rocket and he still couldn't see it through. I suspect that was his last chance of the big time.
If Yan can cut out some of those sloppy positional shots which make life harder and sometimes come out of nowhere, then he is going to be more than a match for anyone.
Just on the subject of Eurosport can someone tell Dave Hendon that not everyone wants to hear one of his boring facts every few seconds. It just seems as if he is constantly showing off. For that reason I always prefer it when he isn't on commentary.

I agree. Comments should be made sparingly to enhance the viewing.
