I’m sure the Eurosport coverage will be all about Selby & Ding for the first few days, those 2 seem rarely to win any significant matches outside of China any more.

I thought Jack was too big, too, but he breaks down on 32 in the opening frame and is royally punished by a very focussed, clinical looking Robbo.
Robbo's dropped a couple of cogs here and has played three of the most bizarre shots I've ever seen in this frame.
4-0, and I don't think Jack has got it in his locker to come back from here against a player of Robbo's class.
If he can somehow get out the first session 6-3 he's still got a squeek.

Going back over the last three seasons, he's come back from 3-0 down against Wilson and 3-1 down against Ian Burns & Chen Zhe.

What did you make of Robbo's shot selections in frame #3? Turning down the yellow over the bag, gifting the red into the bottom left bag by running the cueball into the black and then playing the snooker (at the third time) off the jaws?

I laid a lump at 2.54 when he was in in that first frame 
the yellow was odd but when they are close to the pocket not always easy to control the cue ball...he did push the brown safe as well & kept 2 point cold
the difference between a top player & the real cream like robbo...unforced errors like that are as common as rocking horse sh1t
4 ranking event finals on the trot (and not micky mouse tournaments either)
I wouldn't nail him for refusing the green, but surely it wasn't that hard to hit slightly right of centre of the yellow and get the cueball behind blue and brown?

Yep. Can get away with it against mid-table dross, but not against the Robbo's of the game.
We missed the start of one session this week because the comms had to have their hour lunch break and the morning session over ran! 
Was the morning Judd got knocked out, I think. They showed a replay of some women's table tennis final instead.

Not going to lie, part of me is expecting a Second Coming from God. He played alright in one tournament this year and has been too bad to be true (almost literally) for the rest of the season. I know his old man likes a punt....

His old man had backed him at 1000/1 to win it by a particular year way before he did.
9-1 wouldn't flatter robbo but could have been 5-5!!

you would have been better off backing robbo in his SF & then reinvesting all of your winnings in the final
