Back with some welcome proper snooker tonight.
Ronnie v Hawk. Haven’t a clue what we’re gonna get from ron tonight tbh, been acting strange again lately and that centuries thing a possible distraction. Hawk +2.5 could be a play as he does tend to get his game together this time of year.
Allen v Mags. Marks head gone a while back but figure he should be over that spell now, 9 years since he lost to mags and that was a championship league thing. -1.5 allen the call here for me.

whats ronnies ton count now? PP got a speical of 6/4 for him making his 1000 2day

It was 10/1 before the higgins match, should have had a piece of it but was on higgins match and outright so left it alone. Have they fixed table/polished balls or whatever the issue was last night? Doubt there’ll be many tons under those conditions today

TBH, I've got the footy on and the snooker just on the laptop and only looked up when I heard Ronnie kicking off. Not sure whether he had a valid point or not.
Think he was acting d!ck again frankly....asking ref to respot a colour once is fine but 4 times you should be told to fck off and cop on.
Because he is continually not respotting the black correctly.Id noticed it before Ronnie.Look at the line through the brown blue pink.Every time the black is off to the right.
I don’t know how you can tell from the tv angle, which is even worse since 20 bookies logos have to be squeezed into the frame. When robbo was breaking off though, could see from the close up shot that all colours looked perfectly in line except blue which looked fractionally off.
Just switched to ITV4, and even now I would say the blue, pink and black aren't aligned, though they might not be spotted, for all I know?
They may well be fractions out a lot of the time i suppose without it being of too much consequence.
Were this a football match, the crowd could be forgiven for chanting, "Are you Allen in disguise?!?"
Proved it there it wasn’t respotted correctly alright, quite a good bit out in fact. But hendry correct to say terry under pressure cos ronnie would likely get hump if he was taking extra time to get it right

Good to see ROS has realised he can assist the ref in positioning a ball - only 2 days ago that he felt it wasn't his job 
R.O'Sullivan was disciplined by World Snooker for saying T.Camilleri wasn't up to the job when he refereed his Masters SF v M.Fu a couple of seasons ago (it was the same match O'Sullivan damaged his tip and they went to the mid-session interval a frame early so he could repair it, and he also swore at a photographer for taking pictures while he was down on the shot). O'Sullivan offered to spend time with Camilleri and a few other referees who he didn't think was up to the job to help them! The offer, unsurprisingly, wasn't taken up.
I wonder if T.Camilleri would congratulate R.O'Sullivan if he makes his 1,000th ton tonight. I wouldn't.
Gonna try and win match with the 1000th isnt he...didnt try very hard on last red in last frame.
It wasn't an easy red in fairness. But, yes, I can't imagine he'll want to make it in a best-of-17 at Llandudno.

Yes, Robbo has been good today - and if we think O'Sullivan can't win at Sheffield, then Robbo and Trump are the 2 other form players.
The itv crew have been overegging ronnie performance today i think, he’s been good but not THAT good, by his high standards i mean. Been very efficient rather than spectacular, has missed very little
I disagree gj. I think O'Sullivan has been absolutely superb today. He is hammering a top class player who is playing really, really well.
Robbo was on 92% pot success as of a couple of frames ago, Wonder. Ronnie played v similar to last night. Potted the balls when they were there and given v little away when they haven't been.
Not saying he hasn’t been very good gobe, but itv lads were talking earlier as if it was up with best of his career. I thought they were a bit ott on it, when ronnie really punches the lights out i think we know about it
Wasn’t there a match earlier this year ronnie was 98% on, hardly missed anything? Not sure was it a final but it’s in my mind anyway...
If you think they've gone OTT so far gj, it will be not only O'Sullivan's greatest ever performance, but the greatest ever by anyone, if he gets his 1,000th ton in this frame!!
Surprised he settled with just playing it with the wrong hand. Could have at least done it with his eyes closed and around his back!
