We had a couple of these this morning where the underdog got away to a great start and then blew it.

Cahill still 1.5 with 365, so no surprise there.

Did you see he's the nephew of Hendry???

James Cahill pulled into the car park and asked a police officer if he knew where the police station was - and was told it was right in front of him.

Was more work than a holiday, TBH.  It rained every day the event I was there for was on Cry  Shame, as Wuhan and Hannan actually looked like they could be quite nice places....

I've been to China three times.  It's an interesting place.  They do a lot of things better than we do (infrastructure is constantly being updated and most things are now at the stage where they're future-proofed for an awfully long time), but the downside is all of the crap they pump into the air in their manufacturing processes.  Good weather days are very few and far between, even when there's no cloud!

And they need to learn how to butcher meat.  Smashing it up with the bones still inside does not count.

when I was teaching there was an opportunity to go out with our sixth form to visit
plenty volunteered but I didn't fancy it

like you say, the food, the pollution, the heat & humidity as well at the time of year
not condusive to me enjoying it

I did ask if snooker was as popular over there as is made out over here but the guy I asked said he never came across anything to do with snooker over there!!

things might have changed I suppose, we are talking over 10 years ago now
