I'm afraid Murphy has settled a little too cosily into his family life now, and things are just too comfortable for him off the table. He started practicing with F.O'Brien when he moved to Ireland, and said he couldn't believe how much more time Fergal spent on the practice table than him. Unfortunately Murphy has gone soft, and it might actually need him to drop out of the top 16 to give him the kick up the ar** he needs. All that said, you'd expect far, far more from a player of his standing in a UK.

John missed a yellow into the middle balls spread everywhere ! A few reds covering each other and he had a cuttable red into the middle! But decided to take a difficult red up the table with the rest on and mugged it hard
