Ronnie is in that all-out entertaining mode.  The Chinese crowd have suckered him in.

How did Robertson lose that frame 3?  He's only a quarter of the player he was a few years back.  Has gone backwards quicker than Matt Stevens

Dingdong one hell of a chinese choker, like all the others.

Missing that brown was a shocker, something you might see from the likes of a Brecel or a Wenbo, ding should have wrapped this up 6-2 at worst but give selby a good chance now despite how poor he’s been. Comms will go on about his legendary fighting spirit but this is all about ding and the cr@p that goes on in his head

Missing the blue for a second chance later was on the same shocking level.

Selby will be delighted he is in the best situation to win this match since start, when he should have been packing last round already - complete joke this.

Another Brecel/wenbo shot. Should be it now

Well, ding was pretty unlucky too through the match, a bit of payback.

Now, Selby has him exactly on the territory he wanted. Another cheap mistake from Dong and its over.

It's a big, big, game for K.Wilson tomorrow. A win over R.O'Sullivan in such a big SF would do wonders for his self-belief. He's almost the finished article, but until recently he's had a bit of an inferiority complex against the real big-guns of the game, and he hasn't won enough titles given the number of latter stages he reaches. The next few days could be incredibly significant for him should he beat O'Sullivan and go on to win the title.

The ever complex O'Sullivan has always been vulnerable playing in China, but he was sensational winning this (as a ranking event) last season, and he had winning in China as one of his major goals last season. This tournament is almost tailor-made for him, and he has had a relatively easy passage to this stage. He is likely to up it a notch tomorrow, and this match looks like a real cracker.

Why isn't it a ranking event anymore?

Are they trying to bill this up as the Chinese masters? Dunno if that’s the idea but I did hear one of the Eurosport comms make the comparison the other day, I nearly choked on my corn flakes.

Gobe, i’d agree this is a big game for Wilson. Am not as big a fan of the guy as others here, I think he’s probably the best of a fairly mediocre bunch to have emerged within the past 5 years or so, very steady but never going to raise the hairs on the back of your neck with the quality of his snooker. Could well be wrong but have a feeling Ronnie could administer a bit of a smack down tomorrow.

Somehow finds himself level.  Could have been 0-4.  Should have been 1-3.
