4 centurys, ding is far too good at snooker, the bookies got his price badly wrong pre toournament
|
By:
Hitherto I'd never paid much attention to the humble Berlingo, but henceforth I will be studying them and their occupants very closely.
|
By:
dings 5th century goes in lmao
|
By:
what a beatdown
|
By:
mugmanus gets a century!! 6 in 10 frames, what a standard
|
By:
The balls have been spreading perfectly for break building, and Dings positional play has been outstanding.
He is hitting the centre of the pocket, so nothing to do with BUCKETS! ![]() |
By:
What McManus needs to do is start putting a few balls safe on his safety shots, making it hard for Ding to clear up in one visit.
|
By:
Probably some of the greatest break building ever seen, can't ever remember anyone playing that well bar Hendry different gravy!!
|
By:
Agree his positional play is exceptional, and that comes from hitting the centre of the pocket as well.
However, the balls are just not going safe. They are spreading perfectly for clearances. |
By:
Some serious blinkers in here. The genius you speak of is two frames up to Alan Mc Manus.
I suspect it would be the same if were playing Mick Mc Manus.... ![]() |

9-7
|
By:
How can ding be 1.2 on these buckets. it's close to a toss of a coin really as any professional worth their salt can win frames on these tables. ding should be nearer 1.57 at 9-7 ahead.
|
By:
really hope it's a mcmanus v fu final and they both bottle it in the final like when ebdon played dott. then and only then they might do something about the ridiculous pool tables they play on.
|
By:
|
By:
i think mcmanus has better chance to win than the current odds suggest.
|
By:
as it goes...since going 5-0 down
he's 7-4 ahead so it looks pretty obvious he's a shoo-in from here,then ![]() |
By:
yep mcmanus has started slowly in all his previous matches and ended doing the business when it counts. just seen mcmanus has made 3 century breaks in the last 7 frames. 107, 136 and 125.
8 century breaks in total in the 17 frames completed. |
By:
In 1984 there were only 8 centuries in the whole tournament! When the likes of Hendry OSullivan Higgins Williams Hunter and Stevens were dominating the game there used to be 40 - 50 century breaks. Now you get 80+ made.
|
By:
first 2 frames are pretty big 2nite for mugmanus, cant afford to lose them both and go 4 down again
|
By:
Ding was definitely less offensive this morning. Needs to go back to that style of play for me.
